Default love yourself

I need to love and trust myself before I can love or trust anyone else. That's some tricky shit right there, and probably one of the most important goals of my life. Same goes for all of you.

This is basically true. If you don't love yourself it's hard to expect someone else to love you. And trust is an integral part of having/allowing someone else to trust you.

I sense you're going through some turmoil with self respect issues. Be honest with yourself (to yourself) and come to terms with who you are and accept that.. the rest will fall into place. Good luck.

Actually, according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, relationships with others comes before self-esteem.

This is so true for me as well. In fact I was pretty much thinking the exact same thing as I made my way home for dinner.

I do love and trust myself at the mo, which feels nice, but it's a rarety.
