Worrying about possible Pregnancy
Right rather worried teeanger here, my girlfriend and I, (I'm 16 she's 14) have been having sex recently, I visted brooks, checked up details got protection etc, and we had protected sex a few times. Recently found out she's a now a week late, and took a pregancy test, it was postive, then took one about 30 mins later, and it was negative. She's shown some signs of early pregancy, but she never eats, and is sick often, so erm yeah, she started taking the pill, as this thins the linning of the uters (doesn't it) in a hope to adviod pregancy, guess I'm justing wondering should I worry?

For a urine one, which she took, erm 10-15 days, we've been having sex for like erm 2 months now, so could be any one of the times we had sex

Re: Worrying about possible Pregnancy
you might have to worry. what are the signs?
i know that a 14 yr old girl's periods can sometimes be irregular. she could even miss a whole month and start back up again.
i don't know much about pregnancy tests, and how accurate they are... but i do know that you're not supposed to take the pill while you're pregnant.
i guess the best thing to do is to wait a while. maybe take another test? good luck...

Re: Worrying about possible Pregnancy
She's had morning sickness.....(vomiting at like 3am, and erm 12:30am) headaches, stomach pains, sore and tender breasts, also small lumps on her breasts those are all I can think of at the moment, and maybe, she's been pretty constant on period times up to now, although last month she was also a week late, and showed some signs of pregancy but then started menustrating again.

Re: Worrying about possible Pregnancy
She is 14, there is a good chance she could just be fluctuating a little.
But, seeing as the two of you together aren't very succesful at taking/giving pregnancy tests, you should just go to the clinic and have a proffesional give you a test. Their tests are better, and if she is pregnant, you can kill two birds with one stone and go over your options/what you want to do with the doctor as well.

Re: Worrying about possible Pregnancy
^^Most definitely. The sooner the better.
How's her appetite? Is she suddenly averse to most foods, especially those she's usually fond of?
The rest of the signs could just be normal premenstrual hormonal fluctuations coupled with anxiety and stress.

Yeah definatley go to the clinic. The sooner you find out the situation the sooner you can learn your options and figure out what you're going to do. Good luck man, you may need it.

Re: Worrying about possible Pregnancy
Thanx Guys, I'm feeling abit better now, hopefully your right, and well we're hopefulyl going to the clinic this firday if she hasn't started, suppose the sooner I know the better, I just don't want to destroy her life.... although I'm only 2 years older, she still has so much to experince and I'm afraid this will take it all away from her. Anyway I'll hopefully keep you updated, again thanx, you guys have been of great help.

Re: Worrying about possible Pregnancy
doesn't morning sickness happen slightly later in pregnancy? i swear someone told me it was later.
but yeah man, when you're 14 you don't know whether you're coming or going where your periods are involved. in fact, this irregularity can continue right through being a teenager, and could be due to any number of reasons.

"doesn't morning sickness happen slightly later in pregnancy" - AllOuttaAngst
It really depends on the woman. Some women don't ever get morning sickness. These are the women other women hate.
Usually though, it starts almost immediately and lasts up to two and half months.

dude, you can not get a dog pregnant with human sperm. If you are still worried you can take her to the vet and get her fixed. hope this helps you out !

Re: Worrying about possible Pregnancy
one thing about the pill is that it will have side effects akin to the signs of pregnancy, i.e. morning sickness, sore breasts, irregular periods. i wouldn't worry too horribly much about it, but like everyone else has said (except a few jackasses in here) you should definately take her to the clinic asap.
