Why is it that chicks seem to prefer assholes over any other sort of guy? I've noticed this since I was 12, and still am at the age of 15. Why is it the'd prefer someone who can't ensure a longterm relationship over someone who can? Oy gevalt.

I think it's so they can fuck around without getting attached.

You want the plain and simple answer? It's because girls are secretly self loathing. Well, that and we always want what we cant have (i promise that is true!). When a girl flirts with a guy and the reply is "you smell like ass", or other such high school phrase, the girl gets infuriated. Obviously, she is not good enough for the jerk, and can't have the jerk, and therefore MUST have the jerk. This means throwing oneself at the asshole. Eventually, the girl will get the jerk, jerk will hurt the girl, girl will leave the jerk, fall for a loving caring guy who they can turn to, meet new jerk, and the cycle continues. High school is all just one big shitty cycle.

Because the pansies don't realize that they're the problem and not the other guys. You can still be nice while being assertive, that's what most people don't understand. Have some solid boundaries and a bit of confidence and you'll be attractive. Women want what they can't have...they can have you, but they still can't cross your boundaries without repercussion so the attraction can be maintained.

exactly! girls or at least i think so, we like it if we push you and you push back. it's no fun if we push you and you fall over and let us walk all over you. be able to stand up for yourself and say what's really on your mind instead of just agreeing with us. sure it's nice that you'll listen to us, but it's kinda boring after a while. we like a challenge as aloneandbroken put it so nicely. in a perfect world, we'd all be able to balance power equally all the time, but in high school relationships, what happens is, we all want a challenge and be equal in the beginning, then, one side will slowly give to the other and then both will become unhappy, they break up, and it all starts over again. viscious cycle.

lol, yeah i used to be the self proclaimed nice guy until 9the grade, the in the middle i just kinda said this dosent work and I learned how to fucking tease girls and shit, It defanatly works, and with all my fucking pratice I have had many satisfied coustmers, ( i guess im kinda a male *oral* slut). the only problem is i am the lonliest son of a bitch ever. most of my relationships are based on sex and its mostly secret shit because girls at our school have to keep up a rep.

For the last 6 years ive seen my best friend date noone but dickheads. Shes the sweetest person in the world, i dont know someone who doesnt like her.
