I know I know, grow some balls and dont care what people think. But besides that EVERYONE or most people care what others say or think about them. My question is, are there any excercies, or ways, to almost completely become numb to peopls words, for example today my neighbor was saying so much shit but I couldnt fight him because 1) I was stoned 2) hes my neighbor 3) I never fought him before so Id have to be in a full state of mind.

What would be easier than all this is just to completely numb of the "caring" part of your mind so nothing anyone said could get you down ever. plus it would be a confidence builder.

Always remember that what people think do not matter only thier actions matter. In the long run what will anyone's opinion matter if they do nothing about it? Be warned, going numb isn't as great as you may think I was almost there at one point in time.

I dont want to be numb like depressed I just want a super ego where nothing anyone can possibly say will make me feel the slightest sadness.

I'm there already and I don't care. Thats when you know you are numb. You don't care about not caring. Most people will be like, "My God! How can I be that insensitive?" But really, I acknowledge I am and tell people that too but it doesn't bother me one drop. Just lose hope in humanity, realize and accept you are not special, realize and accept no one is special, and if you give a fuck you can hurt. A lot of people like me I guess but they know their emotions and feelings are not my number 1 priority.

yea dude, its called depression, i wouldnt recommend it, as for just not caring what people say, thats called insecurity, and ive have known only one sure fire instant relief of it, get high or drunk, go up to the kid and slap him, then let him beat the fuck outa you, its gonna hurt but youll be a new man thats how i got past it, i paid my friend to kick my ass

Suppress emotion. Every time you feel bad about someone, tell yourself that you don't give a shit and they're worthless. Hate them. Understand there's nothing special about the world and there never will be. There is no god, and you're useless. Once you understand that, you should be well on your way to being emotionless. I'm almost there.

I like it, it makes you feel pretty good since you don't mind doing anything, stealing from anyone, lying to anyone, and you don't feel bad about anyone. Basically I'm living in my own little world and I like it.

well let me say that not caring is going to get you no where...no where good that is

first off i was brought up and made myself beleive that what people say doesnt matter....i was a chubby lil kid and copped it alot

so i dont give to shits ....though that does not mean you have to be cut up at people the world or anything

personally it hink loving the world and all the people in it is the way to go...realizing u are special and every bit of life is speciall....thikning this u will have found new feelings and understanding

if you enjoy everything even things you dont like how can u possibly get depressed

its your choice....to b happy or sad you make that choice everyday

you also make the choice to let what people say get to you

IF you truly loved them, nothing will change it, it may dumb down and you can forget it. Nothing heals those wounds.

To forget, just get pissed and laid.

I am begining to understand now. I think I will

start a fight next time some one pisses me off. Just fly off the

handle for once all out and see how it is. I do get high everyday but

its only a temporary relief. I am on my way too, to feeling no grief,

guilt, or shame from anyone. And I think insecurity is the opposite of what im talking about. I DONT want to be insecure, not that I am but sometimes i just get pissed off to the point where I dont even talk.
