Default Cologne

Im guessing this should go here, so what types of cologne do you girls like your man to wear, or would you rather him not wear it? I am really sick of using the original Polo Sport and Tommy Hilfiger the older one and I want to get a new type, but I whenever I go test them, my nose like adapts to the first couple, and then they all smell the same after that. Which cologne(s) do you think smell good?

fuck Axe, why would you want to smell like everyone else? Thats lame. I think someones scent is an individual thing. A personal Experiance, if you will. Ok, I'm getting too into this hahah.

ew, i hate axe. guys at school randomly spray it on too like in the middle of a room ... eck. guess it depends on each person... i for one am not really into cologne, (and really hate it when guys overdo it, what're you trying to hide? and it gives me a headache) i just like guys' smells as long as they have some deodorant (nothin fancy) and generally smell clean it's all good, i prefer smelling each person's own scent.

I absolutely adore Ralph Lauren Romance for men, Ralph Lauren Blue, Abercrombie and Armani Mania.

But the thing with cologne is not all colognes work the same on every persons skin. Some stuff may smell like heaven on you, but like shit on someone else and vice versa. The best idea when picking a cologne is pick out some smells you like, go to the store with a girl, and check each one out. She'll give you the right choice.

Or....you could be brave and mix in some women's perfumes. There was a post a while back on it... It really does work wonders. Blending it in is great. Try an ambiguous but womens scent...something that smells of lavender or vanilla, or light light florals. You will smell delicious, yet like no one else.

Axe is fucking trash. So is anything by Abercrombie and Fitch, Tommy, Polo, anything made by a popular clothing company, because they all smell the same, shitty.

When i do wear any kind of scent i wear a tiny dab of after shave, as in i put my index finger over the bottle hole turn it upside down once quickyl spread it on my palms, pat my face and chest and then wash my hands. I wear either Wings for men (Giorgio) or Voyageur (Jean-Patou) they smell pretty similar but are different enough that it's not redundant to have a bottle of each.

women almost always prefer cologned men (that is LIGHT cologne) to none. As for brands, I know I can tell instantly upon walking into a room if a guy is wearing Curve, it smells soooo good. I also really like Cool Water and Abercrombie, but Polo and Tommy smell awesome too.

I usually go au natural, or just some Old Spice deoderant. Girls still tell me that I smell good, even without wearing synthetic pheromones.

Haha, seriously though, I use Nautica Latitude|Longitude (I think someone else said that up there), but very little. I also use Old Spice deodorant. Whenever I'm at parties and stuff, lots of girls comment on it. They're like, ohh, you smell like.. oh I can't think of it.. but its good!! Then they hug me

Curve smells the best a day old on clothes. Spray it kinda heavy and then let it sit out like on a sweatshirt.

Smells fucking great the next day, also Armani in the black/white/silver box I think smells awesome.

These are the things I wear, I also wear axe on ocassion and the scent isn't that strong.
