26 hour days...
My friend set me up with his cousin. I've only seen her twice (we got lunch once before she went to work and I visited her at work once) because she barely has any free time. She's a full time student (senior in high school), has a part time job at a mall and has community service for her school. On top of that, her parents are strict so week nights are practically impossible.
Now, I've got a sinking feeling that maybe she's purposely avoiding me, but she seems happy enough when I talk to her and I've got no logical reason to suspect it, just my own insecurities.
So, my question is this... Does anyone know a way I might inject an extra couple hours into a typical day? I think this would be a lot easier if there were 26 hours in a day.
:/

Re: 26 hour days...
Try meeting her in places you know she'll be. Showing up to her work before she gets off is a good way to show you want to hang out and are making an effort. Or if that doesn't work try to call her more often, this shows that you enjoy her input and are willing to try to be more intimate.
Don't be over worried that she doesn't like you. If shes a senior in high school she should be more than capable of telling you the truth, just ask any of the hundreds of High school boys who get their hearts broken everyday.
If you feel like shes just not reciprocating the love then don't invest yourself entirely into the relationship. No sense in falling head over heels for her if she doesn't feel the same way.

Re: 26 hour days...
Whether it works out with her or not, if you still want a longer day...Mars. If yer a good
student plan to get into Terra-forming Mars. It has an almost 25 hr. day.
With the lighter gravity you'll be full of enough energy to fill that day right up. Tho,
as everyone knows, "Mars Needs Women",
which could be a problem.

And theres no reason you can't put yourself on a 26 hour day timetable.

Why don't you just sleep for two hours less?

Thanks for the advice, but it's unneeded. I actually specifically shied away from asking for help because this post was meant more to vent than anything else. I realize that there's little to found my fears except my own inadequacies (sp?), and that's something I've got to come to grips with on my own. I'm also capable of coming up with ideas on my own, as I think most people are, and think that a lot of people who post stuff already know the answers and are either seeking validation or, more likely, some non-existent miracle that will make everything just work.
That said, she doesn't get out til 10 (assuming she doesn't need to stay late) so hanging out with her after work isn't really an option and I do call her quite often, but she doesn't usually answer her cell phone.

This reminds me of a scienfeld episode. jerry said we went to the moon becuase we thought we would find women there, thats why we brought the buggy thing, so we could go on dates. After we found out there were no women, we havent been back, have we? hahahah
