Which would you prefer? Im not really sure where i should post this question so ill just post here. You see im uncircumsized and whenever i watch porn or something they are always circumsized. Any answers would be great.

I've heard it's not much different, but an uncircumcised guy has to shower every day or it gets nasty down there, and has to pull back the foreskin to feel anything.

Sex is not much different apart from you're more sensitive to feeling; there are huge threads about this every so often but from what I know chicks don't care. The foreskin pulls back during sex anyway.

In porno's it's just because a circumsized penis is easier to keep clean, and looks nicer. Only problem is it's more difficult to masturbate while circumsized, without a lube. Some say circumscision takes away some of the feeling, but I can't see that being possible, but whatever.. All up to your judgement.

The only reason people say they lose a bit of sensitivity is because day after day the head rubs against your boxer shorts or whatever your wearing.

Really won't make that much difference so i wouldn't worry about it.

It seems to me (I am uncircumcised) that my penis would have to be a lot less sensitive than it is now before I could let it be abused by the random rubbing etc. of clothing that it would get if it were circumcised.

Well, I'm uncircumcised and GLAD of it! It's a decision that should be made by the individual when they have reached a mature age (define as you will). Incidentally, I'm against religion.

I can understand that some men may want to get circumcised if they watch porn as that seems to be the norm and they may be worried that girls think it's 'funny'. Honestly, it's never been a problem for me - very few, if any, girls (or guys) would turn a guy down at that point because <fill in nickname> wears a hat. If they do then they have the problem - it's natural after all.

The hygiene issue is one of those stupid points thankfully not being over-emphasised on this posting. It's not even an issue. When you have a shower, you should wash all the nooks and crannies - it just makes sense. On a side note, before engaging in sexual activity, a man should wash, just like women do!

Well I find an uncircumsized cock to be ugly, and I wouldn't want to put one in my mouth. That said, ha ha!

my son was not circumsised at birth, he's 21 now, married and has a daughter almost 10 months old. he just had surgery for something called phimosis. look it up, it was not fun for him. he was completly circumsised in surgery. he will be ok now. but guys that are not circumsised are the ones that get it. it has NOTHING to do with being clean. its a disease.

It shouldn't matter, erect penises are pretty much the same uncut or not. If the guy's clean it shouldn't matter.

Phimosis is pretty rare though.

At least he waited until an age when they could properly diagnose it to get surgery.

Actually, phimosis is a condition rather than a disease. It is also, as Elfer- said, very rare. One sourece I counsulted suggested that the percentate of men over 17 affected is less than 1%.

Furthermore, some more recent studies say that circumcision is only indicatedas a solution for phimosis some of the time.

I think I'd rather not hack chunks off my dick just on the offchance, thanks.

Mature age?

I got cirmcumsized when i was like 2 years old. i think your parents decide for it. if you were to get circumsized NOW like at 13 or 10, then you would have serious dick problems and itll hurt like hell.

I would imagine that going hard soon after surgery would hurt like a bitch (who happened to be holding about 20 matches up to the head of your dick)...
