Uncomfortable with talking to friends
Yeah well in my other thread if you have read that. My friends have been asking me what happened last friday night. I just dont' really like talking about shit I do with a girl but with them it's all kiss and tell. I am not usually like that it just seems like what happens between you and a significant other is to stay between you two.
My friends don't see it this way, they always feel they need to flaunt their sexuality to all of their friends to show that they are a "man". Having sex does not make you true man. Loving someone and being there for her and respecting her when she doesn't feel like doing anything makes you a man. I dunno how to explapin it but it just seems that I'm pissed at my friends because they seem to pry too much.

Re: Uncomfortable with talking to friends
so tell them you're a gentleman and a scholar and you don't talk about that. Or tell them to piss off because it's none of their buisness, ignore them, etc. I don't talk to my friends about having sex with my girlfriend and she doesn't talk about having sex with me with her friends who cares whether or not you're getting laid are they really so desperate that they need to get off on stories of your encounters?

Re: Uncomfortable with talking to friends
^Yeah kind of. They always give me a lot of shit because I don't really have girlfriends because I'm more into the whole lets be in a relationship and they're like oh lets fuck, ok we fucked good bye.
I dunno I know thats not right. Other than that they are cool to hang out with. Who else am I going to drink with?

Re: Uncomfortable with talking to friends
yea i have friends like this too, so when they ask at lunch what ive done with my girlfriend and what not, i dont tell thim shit, i just ignore them or say like "the world may never know" lol, ive only told my one good friend about whats gone on, but just dont worry about them, ignore them or saying something to them along the lines of "if your that desperate here's 5 bucks, now go get yourself some porn" works pretty well with my friends

Lets face it, you know know what it takes to be a man.
I used to be that way. I was all hush hush about my relationships with girls; but while flaunting your sexuality in a perverse and boastful manner may be imature, I think that being completely quite about it is imature itself. It takes a little bit of growing up to be able to converse (with a close friend hopefully) about your sexual experience, in a mature and open fassion that is.
Both you and your friends need to grow up.
