The ten commandments?
The ten commandments.
Does anyone follow those anymore?
Thy shall not covet thy neighbor's wife.
What the hell?
The ten commandments was probably just a children's book turned into a movie so kids wouldn't get STDs.
Yes, they lie to you.
Besides, I'm married and have still gone to a strip bar. I haven't been lightning struck or anything.
Your thoughts?

Re: The ten commandments?
You're not supposed to get struck by lighting, but rather, burn in hell in the afterlife - especially if you're not a believer like you seem to be.

Re: The ten commandments?
My interpretation of the Ten Commandments are just that they're some basic social rules that people at one time in history discovered that, if followed, would help keep the headaches in their life to a minimum. Fucking around with the neighbor's (or friend's, relative's, co-worker's) wife (or girlfriend) breeds ill will and possibly leads to bad things happening.
It's just common sense stuff.

Re: The ten commandments?
Why do people expect God to "strike" them with "lightning" everytime they commit a sin? The consequences of our sins are brought on by the sins themselves.
