my girlfriend and i are planning to have sex for the first time soon. we will be using a condem. if the time comes without warning, just a spontanious time, i want to be ready. where is a good place to keep them? i was thinking in my car, but will it be bad for them to sit out in it? the temp is still fluctuating quite a bit, and while its about 50 or 60 during the day, it can get damn close to freezing at night. would this be bad for them?

Yes.

If you carry any sort of bag, keep one in there. Wherever you may keep it, though, the general rule is to protect it from stress (IE; a wallet, where it would be crushed and stretched) and extremely temperatures.

I dont think that you should have to spell "condems" first before you even think of having sex. Does anyone agree?

If you're planning on keeping it in your car like that for a few months, then no. But something like two weeks shouldn't make a difference at all. Condoms are stress-tested with extreme temperatures; they are designed to withstand that kind of stuff.

Where to keep condoms is a really big issue...it might be safer to get the girl to kkep them in her purse. That way they aren't exactly confined or exposed to body heat or friction.

The easiest solution, as well as the safest, is to just wait until your at home in your room, and keep them in your room.

When it's all said and done, listen to jojabr..if its only going to be in there a couple days, and the temperatures in your car dont get too hot, your car wont be that bad. Don't put it in the glove compartment. it gets hotter in there.
