Yeah I get that problem alot. I'm sure it'd never happen if I knew they were taken. I end up talking to them for a month, and then finding out from one of their friends they have a boyfriend. And at that point it's too late to say fuck it I don't need them, because you've already set aside a part of you for them to live in. Sorry to be all sappy and shit but that's the way it is with me.

Shit, man, it leaves me in a lot of pain, so I feel you. Or something. For some reason, getting back in touch with a very old friend and flame of mine, named Julie, has done me a bit of good..y'know; she's one of those ray-o-sunshine sort of chicks when you're suffering and aching from a previous loss.

I need to tell you guys....Most girls you guys THINK are "taken", are NOT really "taken"......at least not irreversibly, as "set-in=solid-concrete"-taken, or forever and ever and ever taken, or "no way, Jose, do you have a chance" taken!! Most are just tied up at the moment with some guy she is probably getting bored with!! Chances are about 7 in 10 that things aren't what they seem to you. So if I were a guy, I would deal with the supposedly "already taken" girl like she were an airline........by BEING ON "STANDBY!! (hee hee)!!

If you have been friendly to her, she will have picked up on that, and will know you are interested, (believe me, we can tell!!), and -- if the feeling is mutual -- she'll have a place for you (just like the airline) when she (probably soon thereafter) isn't "taken" anymore. People who are "taken" are taken for a reason: they're desirable and usually not completely insane. But as p-pinay suggested, no girl with a mere bf is actually taken. Married means "taken".

This used to happen to me all the time when I was in high school.

Now I just concentrate on making myself the person I know I can be, and wait for people to come to me first. That way, I don't have to wonder.

I think the guy that said it's not permanent is right. Especially if you are in school. Shit even in college the relationships that people think are "long" are like 3 months. If you really think you could love a girl, then wait for her. She'll free up eventually.

With that said there's a dude who's like my girlfriend since before i was with her and we've been together for 4 years. :-). You should consider the possibility that you don't have chance with the girls you are interested in.

It is also bad to get a crush on a guy who loves something so much he doesent even notice your existence.
