You've got the idea half right. Yes, you do have to go out hunting for it, but don't get a hooker. There's plenty of girls out there looking for the same thing as you. You just have to have a "fuck it" attitude. No matter how awkward it seems, try flirting with the most out of your league, most attractive, female you know/see. You'd think she would shoot you down faster than speeding bullet, but 9 times out of ten, if you're even remotely nice, the worst she'll do is politely tell you she isn't interested. If you do this all the time, talking to lesser attractive girls will seem like second nature.
