Self Realization - growing up
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but here me out please. I need some good advice, so cut back on the flaming please.
Anyway I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself before I get to the point. Like many people, I have trouble in my love life as well. I know I shouldn't let it affect the rest of my life, but that's how i am. Is it wrong to just be thinking and feeling, that I sometimes keep wandering into negative thoughts? I'm always passionate with my women.
The way I view my own life, I've built myself pretty well, I feel like a soldier... and that's what keeps me going. But the ups and downs of relationships tears me in 2, I really can't take this knight in armor shit anymore....
I've always been a boozer, and recently I've smoked more than I usually do. I used to get stoned and felt like i was saying "goodbye" to my childhood memories... and recently stoned, i'm startin to realize who i am. That the knight in shining armor shit is not for me anymore. That excitement and danger, the adrenaline rush, is my fuel and no longer see love as that fuel anymore. I have different views on life. I can't accept routine. I need adventure and excitement. And because of this, I feel i must destroy this "knight in shining armor" passionate shit-part of me, or else it will always seep through. But how can i do this? I feel like this childhood type of character is no longer for me. But how can i become rid of it?
Open to some suggestions..
