I think I'm in love.

I got in touch with an old, old friend and once-girlfriend today, because I was in the mood for rekindling old friendships...and when I saw her smile again, it all came flooding back; all the happiness that came from my relationship with her. Why did it ever end? We were just young, dumb..it was over 9 years ago.

I can't believe how profoundly and suddenly that little bastard Cupid's arrow hits.

The problem?

She has a boyfriend.

...THAT is the "old familiar feeling" I'm referring to, contrary to what it was sounding like...

yeah dude i know the feeling, like bam your totally in love with someone. I am going throught the same stuff . it really sucks too. I dont know if she really likes me so i just like dont think about it and keep my mind on other things and stuff

C'mon Infrared... you're a smart dude, you know the signs of rekindling an old relationship. If she's 'got a boyfriend' but talking to you in the old way she used to then she's not satisfied in her current relationship. Either that or she's the type to settle, then move along when something better comes along. Either way, I wish you luck.. and pardon me for giving advice, but get away from the drugs... you'll be a happier soul.

ahh yes, i know about that, only i talked to my ex gf on the phone and i said i missed her and stuff, and we were remanicing on old times, and then her ex bf came and they did stuff, i was pissed cause she hung up on me to do stuff with her ex bf. i didnt call her back.

Sometimes you guys confuse me!!! Wouldn't you like to DOUBLE the number of girls available to you for dates or possible relationships? Well then, if a girl shows some interest in you, and if you have an interest in her, then why do you back off and not follow up with her JUST BECAUSE SHE HAS A BF? That seems stupid and lame to me!!

If the girl is really happy with her present BF, she has the power not to let you go too far with her. But it's also very likely she is not in a happy space, and is "looking" around......and THERE YOU ARE!! So you should be BRAVE and follow up with her.
