I gotta give the whole background information for you guys to understand. The girl I'm with now, well she dumped me awhile back but got back together with me after a month or so (I'll refer to her as Sue). During that month I found myself getting closer to a friend of mine (I'll call her Sally) and she even claimed that she liked me. Now about 9 months later, I'm with Sue and it will soon be 10 months that we've been together. I've begun to think about Sally more and more but I don't want to break up with Sue because we have a great thing going and she always says if I would ever leave her she'd just die and all that junk. I don't want to ruin and regret anything with Sue but I have to find out if Sally and I could have a good relationship. I've been so confused about what to do I can't even sleep. Any ideas on what I should do? All my friends just say stay with Sue because she's always been good to me. Please give me some ideas about what I should do. Thanks.

why screw up a good thing? if you were gonna be with sally you would've gotten with her during that time you and sue weren't together. but look here, you and sue have a good relationship going, don't ruin it by thinking "what if" but if you question your relationship and don't think you two click, then i suggest not going any furthur.

If she's going to kil herself if you break up with her, she'll kill herself anyway. And if she hates you forever because you are doing what's best for you, is she really that good of a friend?

Cheating on your girl isn't a good idea. You have to make the choice of how important your relationship with sue is.

You could possibly tell sue that the two of you need a break, but if she finds out that on your break, you were investigating the possiblity of a relationship with another girl, you wont be getting back together.

It's all about how much you care about your relationship with Sue. Sue can handle herself without you, so don't just stick with her because you dont want her to get hurt. It has to be about how you feel or you will be unhappy. Weigh out the pros and cons of each girl.
