Who should be making the first move?
So who should be making the first move you think in relationships?
Girl?
Guy?
or it doesnt matter, what happens is what happens, go with the flow and such.
Personally, I would say go with the flow, but I did that, made the first move towards a relationship that lasted well for multiple fortnights then I got psycho bitch on a yoyo.
and if easy going replies to this post, I have a good idea of what he would say... I think.

Re: Who should be making the first move?
normally i would say that it doesn't matter. but i really haven't been with a whole lots of girls. right now i am in my second real relationship. in the first relationship, she made the move but i had the chance for so long but was to shy to take it. in my relationship now, i always have to make the move, everytime. i dont mind though. i've heard girls say that the guy should make the move and im going to have to agree with that.

i think he's talking about sexual. that's what i was talking about in my post. before posting though, i was wondering if he meant asking the other person out, but that's not a "move".

Re: Who should be making the first move?
Sexual moves, yeah sure.
I consider "moves" like keypoints in relationships, like the first kiss, inclination to date, or any other errant activity.

from what i know, which isn't to much, it seems like the femal is suppose to give clues and the male is to act on them.

Re: Who should be making the first move?
If a girl made the first move I would love it, but they never seem to , its always me. WTF. all the girls who read totse should make the first move on their guy, see what happens. i guarntee he'll love it.

Re: Who should be making the first move?
i've made the first move on more than one occassion, sometimes it was reciprocated but quite a few times ive been shot down in flames which makes me wary about doing it again.
i made the first move towards this guy i like at the moment and told him that i like him. Thank god he didn't run away, although we arent together we are good mates which made it easier and i know he likes me, which i never would have known for sure if i hadn't made the first move.
it all depends on the girl and the situation....

Re: Who should be making the first move?
i think that the girl should make the first move for each step, so you know that its ok with her and what not, i think it works better that way, so your not pressuring her into anything

Re: Who should be making the first move?
Well i've only really had two real relationships. the girl made the first in the first one
and now im currently in the second, and I made the first move, and I always make the move period. It gets annoying sometimes that I always have to kiss her and she never kisses me. but I get over it. once in a while she pecks me but thats it.

Re: Who should be making the first move?
GUY, GUY, GUY
If not the guys a pussy, or the girl's desperate. The guy has the balls, so he shoud suck up his insecurity and be a man.
(I'm happy to be one) life would be too easy if the girls initiated all the time.

Re: Who should be making the first move?
I don't really think it matters, and what qualifies as 'the move' anyway?
I've initiated conversations with fellas without the intention of making a 'move' but I guess it would've qualified as 'the move' because I got things rolling...
Why do there have to be so many rules and regulations? Why can't men and women just co-mingle and approach each other without preconceived ideas and a 'plan of attack'?
*shrug* I think I was born on another planet. I require a motivating factor to strike up a convo with anyone, male or female, and that motivation has never been "hey, a possible mate!" I consider that pattern of thinking to be completely obsurd... If you're so desperate to hook up that it's the one thing that drives you to go out in the world and approach people then you probably qualify as an emotional mine-field and are in serious need of some soul searching... maybe a hobby or two.

Re: Who should be making the first move?
whoever wants to hit it more. No, seriously; whoever has the most initiative will make the first move, hopefully. It's really lame to care whether it's the guy or girl. Just go for what you want!

Re: Who should be making the first move?
I think IAmTheRiver said it right in her first sentence......."Whoever wants to hit it more"!! That's the way it usually works....which is why it is usually the guy. But there is no "rule". Can be the girl if she's feeling like it. Love, Venus.

Re: Who should be making the first move?
I agree that both men and women should just "go with the flow"; but I also think that chicks need to start taking more initiative with those kind of things. You gotta sex drive? Prove it.

Re: Who should be making the first move?
well in the past i have made the first move on guys, but it seems to me that it is best for the guy to make the initial move into the relationship.
After being in the relationship i think it should be from both parties equally.
