i know that this isn't in the correct place but this is the only area that i come to.

i am 19 years old, work at Burger King(making around $600 a month), have a Jeep(insurance is $200 a mounth), and my mom told me that i have to move out by this weekend.

i have no where to go and i dont know what to do. im trying to get a job that pays more, but still, to get an apartment, i have to pay a high priced deposite that i dont have. what should i do?

Why does she want you to move?

Maybe if you make her life easier, she will let you stay. Pay some rent, help with chores, follow her rules...etc

this is the thing. i have always been coming home late at night(1am to 7am) and i am quite when i come home and she has never cared. about a week ago, i came home and she was going to work and acussed me of being on crystal meth, but i wasn't on it. then she made some dumb rule that i have to come home at 12:00 every week night. last night, i didn't come home, big deal, she doesn't know where i was, i could have been at a friends house, i am 19. i got home today around 9am to get ready for work and i found a note that says...

personally, i think it's a bullshit reason. i even do chores, i clean the leaves out of the gutters just the day before. i really dont know what to do.

All I can suggest is make a complete 180 degree change. I've been in that situation and I'm on my feet now in my own apartment. You don't realize what you have until you lose it, like many things. But if you sit down and talk to her you better be ready to change. Even I know your our partying all night. I'm 19 I know exactly what your doing when your out will 4am. Your mom knows too. She was 19 once. But if you ask for one more chance and fail to change she is going ot kick you out without hesitation. I think this is just a warning.

If by chance I am mistaken. You need to stay with a freind for a little bit and make a plan. I suggest you start looking in the paper for people looking for roomates. You should either switch jobs to something that pays more, ask your boss for a raise based on this unfortunate incident, or sell your jeep and use that for rent & living costs and walk to work.

If by chance she is serious and cannot be talked out of it. What you can do is ask her for a couple of weeks to get prepaired. If this is impossible, call the cops. They have laws about how much notice you can give someone before you are evicted from your house.(This might be different for you seeing as how its your parents and you AREN'T paying any rent(that i know of))

Either way, keep your head up. This is something your going to have to experiance for yourself before you can see whats really important in life. Good luck either way.

PS:If you cant pass a drug test, which I highly doubt you can, she will probably call you on it and suggest that you take one before agreeing to let you live with her again. Expect it.

600 dollars a month? That must be part-time. I guess your going to school the rest of the time? Tell your mom you realyl dont want to have to drop out. And you will be forced to if you have to move out. And you really will, if you have to move out. Otherwise if it is fulltime, you need to get a job that pays more than 3.75 an hour after taxes cause thats slave labor.

i keep on thinking about what im going to do. it seems like everything went wrong last night. not only did i get kicked out, but my girlfriends mom hates me(that's in a different thread). i was thinking about selling everything i own, buying a bunch of drugs(im clean right now) and alcohol, renting a hotel, getting all fucked up for a couple of weeks straight, and then killing myself. it would be a good way to go out. i probley wont do that, but the thought continues to cross my mind. everything that keeps me together is falling apart.

i was thining about this and i hope that she does have me take one. and i would pass it except for maybe thc, but she knows that i just quit.

SO why don't you offer to pay for one? Prove to her that your not lying. its way cheaper than an apartment. AND FOR GOT SAKES CHANGE YOUR SCHEDULE!!!! Why dont you wake up early instead of staying out late? You can get the same amount of hours in the day either way.

i work from 11am to 4:30pm. my friends stay out late. i dont think i should have to prove it to her. she thinks that im using crystal meth, that's like a mother acussing her daughter of prostitution, my mom must think pretty low of me, it hurts too.

Lets look at the facts

1. your 19

2. you live with your mother

3. you work at burger king

4. I assume you have a gf, how old is she and where does she live?

5. You dont obey your mothers rules in her house



Ok well since your living in your mothers house you should respect her rules, that means you shouldnt be out past 12. Get a better job, or find a few friends to get an apartment. You are acting all like you didint do anything, coming in the house at 4 am is a damn good reason. If you really want to stay which at 19 i have no clue why you would, sit you mom down and make rules, your going to have to give up some freedoms to gain freedoms, liek negotaate liek you can be out till 1 and if you arent your mom can make you pay money or she can kick you out, offer to pay rent. Your 19, im 18 and still in HS I cant wait to move to chicago with my dad. Hes more like my friend. I recomnend getting out soon.

alright, i just went and turned in an application at a golf course that my friend recommened me to. i talked to this guy named Don that hires and he said that he would give me a call. i told him that i dont go to school and can work any time and that im looking for 40 hours a week. also, the girl at the desk was hot. but i still dont know where im going to live. i was thinking about putting everything i own into a storage space, sleeping in my jeep and taking showers in public resturooms that have doors that lock(i would just shave,brush my teeth, and wash my hair in the sink, and then use a wet towel to wash my body with). i would do this until i saved up enough money to put down a deposit on an apartment.

Live in your storage space, that would kick ass, and hell its cheaper than an apartment.

i might be able to. probley not though. i could probley move out if i had enough money for a deposit on an apartment. i was going to move out a year ago and they wanted $900 because i have no credit.

You could find a job managing a storage place and they give you a place to stay. my uncle did that in college

I would be tempted to say work it out with your mom and give yourself more time to get ready to move out, but throwing out an accusation of crystal meth usage is harsh. Regardless of what you do, maybe you should ask her why she thinks you're doing shit that hard. I know how bad it is for a family to deal with a real meth user, so I can imagine how low her opinion of you might sink if she believes this for an extended period of time.

i talked to my brother today and he said that i can live with him. but he will only live at his apartments for another 2 months. i was thinking about not talking to my mom for a couple of years because of this, but then i talked with my girlfriend and she said that i should still talk to her, then i called a friend and told him about what happened and he said that if this had happened to him, that he would never talk to his mom again, so i have decided that i wont talk to her for about 6 years.

i also found out today, that my mom told my girlfriends mom that i am a loser, a low-life, and a druggy. my mom also said some to my girlfriends mom about my ex-girlfriend, i dont know why, i have nothing to hide. my girlfriend said that it seems like my mom was just trying to make me look as bad as she could. this is a reason not to talk to my mom ever again, and now that i think about it, i wont talk to her ever again. i wont even go to her funeral. as far as im concerned, i no longer have a mother.

I know how you feel. but realize this, how late did you come in last night? tonight? I bet it was past her curfew again. if so, she is merely trying WHATEVER IT TAKES to get thru to you. You can't keep doing what your doing. It's not the way REAL people live their lives. You can choose to live a party life if you want. But you will never be sucessful.
