I just realized all the guys in my clique treat girls like shit except for me, and I'm practically married.

They keep going through these patterns where they have a girl "friend" who hangs out a lot. Then the girl starts sleeping over, then they fool around, and maybe have sex. Then the girl assumes they are a couple and the guy gets freaked out. Maybe he lives with it for a month, but never commits to the girl. Then he starts blowing off the girl because he thinks they are moving too fast. This has happened 3 times in the last 3 months to the same guy.

I feel bad because the girls are really cool people and i hate to see them get hurt, but the guys are my friends, so it's not like i get involved at all.

I think this pattern is a lot worse than getting drunk and having random sex, because when people in college have random sex, they know it's happening and they know not to expect anything, but this way the girls get really attached and it's pretty heartbreaking to watch the whole thing.

Should i ever say anything to these guys? Do you know people like this?

They think that I am being close minded for thinking if you're "with" a girl in a relationship, both people should know that this is the case, they say stuff like "why do we need a title". I think they are too immature to have a real, meaningful relationship and are making excuses for wanting casual sex.

So pull the girls aside and explain to them what kinda guys these are. You can voice your opinions to your buddies, but it doesnt sound like they would listen. Many people actually prefer the persuit of a relationship than the relationship itself.

Anyways.. Just either talk to the chicks, or talk to your friend about what he's doing. Losts of guys are afraid of committment, alas. Especially college guys, and perhaps with good reason. They probably just don't want to be tied down. Nothing can really change them except some growing up.

If you want to help them, the best thing you can do is to hook them up with a girl who feels the same. (IE just wants some sort of non official relationship based off of sex.)

why is it the guys fault that these girls are worth nothing more than a couple fucks? if they had some redeeming qualities, perhaps these guys would want to change their current lives.

Trust me, each of the girls have had redeeming qualities. The point is the guys are willing to lead the girls on and have sex with them but not give the girl any level of commitment. But what makes it messed up is that the guy is willing to make it look like an actual relationship. It's not like a party fuck. But then when the girl starts thinking the guy considers her his girlfriend, then he starts being an asshole.

^ true dat. it's all in the chase. cuz once you're together most people don't wanna put the work into keeping it together. meh, that's what growing up is all about, experiencing different relationships and what not until you finally find someone you really click with. (remember, almost everyone feels awesome while you're having sex with them, so it's hard to face that the personalities/mentalities in the actual relationship don't mesh even if the physicalities bring pleasure.)

first of all, youre lying. i dont believe for one second that these girls were worth anything more than a fuck. if its valuable, a person will keep it.

I'ma tell ya like this. The reason is because they haven't developed a friendship with the girls. Now some of ya are going to say "Girls and Boys can't be friends" and plus the latter theory and everything. Alright they should have the same friendship as they have with thier guy friends(minus wantin to fuck them). People who know each other well enough have some type of idea how the other person is gonna react to thier actions. SO what I'm sayin' is if your friends took the time to get to know these girls personally and actually got to care about them on a good friend level these girls would know what they're about to get into.
