In terms of morality: How the hell should I know? Everyone has their own moral code. Personally, I think it's pretty damn repulsive, but I don't control anyone else's life....

In terms of legality: Depends on the area. Here in America, there are some states (in the south) where marrying your cousin is legal (I think- if I'm wrong, someone correct me). I haven't a clue about other countries.

To me, incest is morally wrong in most cases. In the first place, incest doesn't tend to be consentual. Usually, it occurs with a younger child who does not know better or even does know better, and is forced to participate. Incest with the purpose of child bearing is wrong because of the genetic problems which are associated with incestual babies.

Where it to be two cousins who fell in love, i would not say that they should not love each other. I actually know 2 cousins that got married and they are happily in love.

Having said that, most incestual couples probably would not last. The social stigma put on their relationship would be huge and rather hard to deal with.

No,you can not marry any type of family. If it's like a step cousin or something like that then it's up for the courts to decide. You can not marry within your blood line anywhere in America.

in termes of genetics its not a very good thing as it limits variation and increases the chances of giving a genetic desease to your child (assuming you intent to have children), however, morally i see no problem, its just widley unaccepted by society. and i believe that it is illegal in most countries (a severe injustice in itself). although i dont think i would do it myself, i can see no problem with other people doing it at all. in the end its your life you can do as you wish.

thanks a lot! my great grandma and great grandad were first cousins... that makes me technically a product of incest, and perfectly healthy as far as I know.

Marrying your first cousin is perfectly legal and whatnot here in England because we have a royal family and they all do it.

Nearly every teenage boy has a wank over some close relation its just apart of growing up there's nothing wrong with thinking it, but when you do it then it becomes wrong.
