(You don't need to say "date"...maybe "to go out with you", or "to do something fun with you", or "get to know you better", or whatever). Just TALK TO HER.....SAY SOMETHING. When I was in HS we would just ask... they would say yes or no. It's my understanding that nowadays is the same... except if they say no you take a gun to school the next day and start shooting people.
