She Thinks I'm Stupid...
Here's what happened. My friend told me that this girl I'm involved with (not her boyfriend though) was "talking" to another friend of mine and said she was saying things to him like she wanted him to come over and basically said she wanted to fuck him. Now I trust her, but she DOES do certain things that would make me believe that she said this.
For example, at one party she was at, the first friend I mentioned said that she was grinding him, but not in a way where it would be considered "just dancing". She said they danced, but she tried to say that HE was the one making the advances. I would have believed her if it wasn't for her doing the same thing to another guy at a party I was at. For the most part, she's a REALLY nice girl but she does things that would make her seem like a slut to people that don't know her.
When I told her what my friend told me and asked was it true, she got all mad about it and started talking shit to me because I wouldn't tell her who told me that she said it. I know for a fact that she was considering going with my other friend, but she said that she never did, and eventually changed her mind. I finally got her to shut up about who told me and THEN she starts getting mad because I ASKED HER WAS IT TRUE.
I would understand her being mad about this if she didn't ever lie to me about this kind of thing, but WHY wouldn't she expect me to ask her about something I heard? It's not like I flew off the handle and started over-reacting. I was assuming it wasn't true up until she said she didn't want me to ask about anything people said she did/said. That just makes her look guilty.
I know she won't lie to me, but that doesn't mean that she won't do things behind my back. I guess she figures that if I don't ask, then she wont have to tell me. THAT way she can get away with whatever because she won't have to worry about being confronted.
She must REALLY think I'm stupid if she thinks I'm going to just ignore consistant rumors about her that come from VERY realiable sources. Only a total dumbass wouldn't ask about them. It's not like I'm accusing her of anything, basically I'm just asking so I can be absolutely sure who I believe. I mean, if she doesn't have anything to hide, why would she get mad at me asking her a justified question every now and then? Nobody would just make up a rumor that's consistant with other peoples stories (the people aren't enemies of either of us, I might add), for no good reason, MORE THAN ONCE.
What do you think of this? I'm not sure who I believe anymore. But it's just absurd to think I won't question both parties. That's just like if you're an innocent person that is a suspect in a crime, how can you be mad at the COP that takes you in for questioning when there were three people who saw you at the scene of the crime?
Maybe it hurt her feelings that I didn't trust her enough to not ask at all, but she should also understand that it would be better for me if I heard it from her mouth, rather than assuming she didn't do anything.

Re: She Thinks I'm Stupid...
Yes, DUMP HER NOW.
I have seen this happen too much.
Very innocent looking girl... but a total compulsive liar underneath and a total tramp.
A while back a good friend of mine got involved with a girl exactly like this. All accusations were dismissed by her as rumors, but they were ALL TRUE, and all from reliable sources. He made the mistake of believing her and not his trusted friends as well as many other people who's stories were all consistent. The result? He got used and cheated on MULTIPLE TIMES.
It was just sickening.

Re: She Thinks I'm Stupid...
Honestly, I despise gossip and rumor-mongering. If things are said, the person who originally said those things should be held accountable. When someone starts to say something to me, and prefaces it with "Don't tell so-and-so I told you this, but..." I will stop them right there and then and say, "Don't tell me, then." This of course applies only to gossip, and not to personal info given to me in confidence.
You apparently thought enough of this girl to want to be with her from time to time. Why are the words of other people more reliable? People have many motivations for spreading gossip, and preserving truths is rarely one of them.
It's possible she isn't ready for your "relationship arrangement" or even an honest friendship. It's also possible that the things said were inaccurate. If the people who told you these things, no matter how reliable you think they are, aren't willing to be present for all discussions you have with this girl, reconsider giving much weight to their statements.

Re: She Thinks I'm Stupid...
Wow, so your friend told you that your current girlfriend told another friend of yours that she wanted to fuck him, and when you asked her about it, she got mad because you wouldn't tell her who told you?
Try an ultimatum, get the truth or you're gone.

Re: She Thinks I'm Stupid...
She's a girl your involved with but shes not your girlfriend...
What the fuck is wrong then?! You expect here to be faithfull when your not even in an official relationship.
Your getting to attached for this to be considered a fuck buddy relationship.
Either you realise your relationship with this girl is what it is and nothing more or you ask her out and see what happens from there.

I think that if it hurt her feelings, she would of been upset about it. Upset as in sad, not angry. If she got really mad about it rather than just denying it or talking about it in a calm way, it's probably the truth.
