Should I just give it up already...
I liked this girl but she didn't feel the same way so we were just gonna be friends but I keep thinking about her and I asked a good friend of mine who is also her friend and he said that I still had a shot but it would be better if I wait awhile before I do anything. Any advice?

First of all you will never say woo again not in a message board or to anyone. Second take her out to a bar club.(if your old enough) And have a few drinks and talk about your relationship and were you both want it to go. If she says she just wants to be friends go home jack off and remain friends. Then go and find yourself another girl.

Re: Should I just give it up already...
guys, i know its hard to just stay friends, but in the long run, its better. if a relationship is gonna happen, it will, just have patience, get to really know each other and be real true friends, falling in love happens on its own. when you're older, a year of being good solid friends first is not rare.

Good advice...usually us men tent go Spock, in love issues. Thigs happen naturally.
Meanwhile, find another girl. The most likely thing, is that your friend will get jealous.
And in most of the cases If she's your friend, forget about it. It's very hard to become something more, spite all the hollywood stories, it just doesnt happen.

Re: Should I just give it up already...
Go for it!!!!! I was in love with my best female friend for years before we finally got together. I let her know how I felt fairly regularly, so she knew the door was open for when and if she ever decided to go through it. And one day, after spending quite a bit of time together up to that day, she told me she was in love with me too. We made the most beautiful love ever right then and there, and proceeded to have a relationship more loving, pure, meaningful, and perfect than I ever imagined possible, even in my wildest dreams. We moved in together and spend the happiest time of both of our lives. We were/are soulmates for life. If she hadn't died exactly one year ago (in two hours from now) we would be married and starting a life of bliss together. So go for it. Don't pass up a chance on true love. Let her know how you feel and that your feelings are going to remain the same about her, so that when and if she decides she wants to pursue something more than friendship, the door will be open. But don't push it on her constantly. If it is meant to be, she will come around. My lady came around the night I shared her first Ecstasy experience with her. When it was close to over I told her that I realized now that she was my destiny and my soulmate, and my heart was hers forever. Days later, she said she felt the same. And so started the greatest, if not the shortest, love story of all time. -jeff

I would say give it time even if your friend hadn't, so it's probably the way to go.

Re: Should I just give it up already...
I wasted the second half of my sophomore year (last year) with a trying to get a girl to be more than just a friend. I did everything for her, but in the end she still dropped me like I meant nothing. We were really good friends for a while... but nothing really jived. Many times I thought I should just let go and give up... but I didn't... and I ended up falling harder than the first time she rejected me. I was hoping that if I stayed with her long enough she might fall in some sort of love with me... but that wasn't the case. When a girl calls you a friend, it's pretty much over. Also if she calls you her teddy bear, or someone who she really trusts and likes to talk to... so more than likely just give up. That last line probably was a little incoherent... sorry, I've just awoken from my nap.
