Default Oh... Right

I just thought this story to be of interest.

Sometimes I wish my country didn't favor interpersonal contact so much. For those who haven't read any of the advertisings I live in Portugal and for those limited in geography, it is a southwestern european country. To the point now. This is a latin-like country. Meaning like, apart from the nerds, no one is uptight about the opposite sex. So y'all are asking yourselves what could possibly be so wrong about that by now. I will tell you what's wrong with it. There's no fucking way to tell if a person likes you. Meaning literally, the only way you can be sure is hearing whoever it is saying it. I will describe my case, and you'll see what I mean.

I was introduced to this girl who attends my school(at my request). Now for some damn reason she gazed a little too much. She seemed a little, over-enthusiastic. I had taken a few pictures with a digital cam about a week or so. So then I'm thinking, maybe I can use that to my advantage. I did. I asked her if she had MSN Messenger, said it was just 'cause I had some pics and shit. Just making it seem casual. It didn't quite go according to plan. I didn't get her e-mail address. Instead, she asked me for mine. Now I'm thinking, people say I'm cute. Not like, stunning or something. But good looking. And y'all who read posts in Reinvent Yourself know that I'm not quite tall(I'm just about her size anyways). Now this girl was meant to be something like a "ticket". But then I'm thinking, "Hey man, when in Rome...". After a few days I finally get to see her in MSN, and guess what, her nick consists of a guy's name and a word right in front of it, which is no more and no less than some version of "I love you". Well, what can I say? I just kept typing normally. At first it struck me like lightning but then it felt like a slap. And it reminded me to stop blaming shit on something. Damnit this is bullshit. I mean, she even offered me her phone number after a few "hey, how are you"'s. And that's all that ever happened between us. Well that's actually a bit common here. Although she was the worst case I had seen. Every fucking thing about her yelled "I could get to like you". I am not exaggerating. And then when I check into it what do I find?

Not all is lost though. I have decided that I am not a jealous person, and I'm too young(16) to love someone. At least, to selflessly love someone. Call me whatever you want, flame me if it makes you feel good about yourself, but I don't mind fucking up a relationship(indirectly) or two. What's there to gain in having female friends?

EDIT:Spellcheck

What's there to gain in fucking up a relationship? There are far better ways to get laid, man.

I really dont have any insight to your topic, because i usually cant read one long paragraph things (not to insult your topic or anything, some of the most well written things i have read have been one long paragraph, its just the combination of that and reading the computer screen etc. that just spazzes me out)...

But I noticed your name...does it have to do with the movie?

Well, consider it a "every man for himself attitude". Fucking it is not exactly the idea I want to convey, but rather to cool it down until the girl decides there are better guys out there. Yeah, it's kinda selfish, I know.
