How many risks (medical) would there be with cutting your tongue (enough to draw quite a bit of blood) before kissing someone?

Well, you'd lose a lot of blood, and stopping the bleeding would be somewhat hard seeing as saliva could keep the wound open. Oh, and not many people like being kissed by the tongue of bloody death (unless we are talking about a girl kissing you with her embedded tampon in her lower mouth, then no one still cares for it anyways).

if you're doing this for the sexual appeal of pain and blood it's probably better to bight eachother's lip until it bleeds. the satisfaction is far better that way.

where i to be doing this, i would wash my mouth out with a very low concentration of sea salt, just as one would do with an oral piercing etc...it may sting a little, but it's better to heal it with. Both of you gargle some mouthwash first to try eliminate as much bacteria before hand.

As it heals, white gunk will develop on the cut...I am assuming you shouldn't scrape it off. For the first while of a tongue split people have to scrape off the white gunk to keep it split, so in order to heal it, i would say dont scrape it off; its your tongue healing.

It should be pretty safe...the bleeding should subside pretty quickly unless you make a deep cut (DONT!). If it doesn't have some gauze and cotton available to apply pressure with.

If you plan on cutting deep, or are worried about excess bleeding, might i suggest you invest in some blood clotting agent....some

stores sell no bleed, or its readily available on the medical fetish sites.
