I really like this guy but I don't know what to do. We talk more online and rarely talk in school. We've been friends for a while now and he's a little messed up- he is really into drugs and his family life is whacked.

You made the mistake of being a hook up. He probably doesn't think he needs to be your boy if he can get it without being so. Just get him to hang out, or go out on a date, and you have to tell him straight up. Tis the 21st century. A girl can ask a boy. He isnt going to ask first.
