Long story short got drunk two big nasty hickys. Is there anyway to get rid of them apart from makeup or at least a way to accelerate the process of it healing? As fun as it was getting them and even though Iam 18 its still kinda embarrassing.

run warm water over it, then get a baby hair brush(it has to be super soft) and rub it over your neck...it should be gone in 3 days

Go get a bunch of spoons and leave them in the freezer overnight. Then apply one to the targeted area until the coldness wears off. Chuck that in the sink and use another.

I suggest you invest in a nice turtle neck or change the way you wear your hair if they embarass you.

But UndefinedMinded's suggestion is supposed to work well...Sorta...i suggest you use the fridge not the freezer. Freezing cold metal will stick to your skin if held there. Plus, if you hold something freezing directly to your skin for too long, you can get frost bite. And that is going to be even more embarassing to explain!

Don't bother with make up. It's like trying to cover up bruises, doesn't work. Just looks like odd dark splodges being hidden by make up. Even more suspicious...

Try the spoon thing, and I guess, wear turtlenecks. Never could get rid of mine, thank god for long hair.

Some people have had success with rubbing pencil erasers or combs over the hickey. The idea is to distribute the blood from broken capillaries more "evenly" over a larger are of skin so it appears to have disappeared. This works best on those with "thick" skin and the perseverance to keep it up for 30 minutes or more.

In other words, say you got into a fight with the biggest guy in school, and he latched onto your neck and started trying to rip your head off. Make sure to call him a "fag" and "gay" all of the time until he finds you and beats the tar out of you. Who cares about a little hickey when your bleeding for the eyes!

First, get two of those hot-cold packs. Freeze one, and heat the other one so that it's just a little colder than scalding. Wrap the cold one in a towel, and apply it to the hicky for 10~ minutes, toss it back in the freezer, and then put the warm one in it's place. Repeat for 'bout two hours, while you read, do homework, surf totse, etc. It's called hydrotherapy, and it works like a charm. I used it for three sessions, and that hickey was gone.
