Well i finaly asked a girl out to do something and got her phone number. I didnt call her that night (thursday) and i wasnt at school friday becuase of the dmv, well she told my friend, who kinda helped me build up some confidance to ask her, that i didnt call and she wishes i did. So now friday i call three times and she isnt there, and i get her mom, and i give her my number and she tells me that she will have her call me back. By the third call i can tell the mom is more than fed up with me calling. Now past noon on saturday she hasnt called me yet, we were suposed to do something tonight i dont know if its gonna happen. Im like fucking stuck in between a rock and a hard place. If i dont call she will think im some inconciderate asshole, and if i do and her mom answers again her mom will think im an asshole for bothering them so much. What the fuck is going on here, this is bullshit... What do i do? What was i thinking getting into all of this shit? Cindy help me!!!!!!

have you asked her mom if she knows when she will be back?

you could always tell her mom you were under the impression that you had plans with her this evening and need to know what's going on with that.

if you call again be nice and apologize that you may have been a nuisance, but explain how you had plans.

She feels a bit blown off, and you know you can come off as a tad stand-offish. Now she's probably uncomfortable to respond to your call and continue with the plans. Now she might be afraid of looking desperate or like a doormat.

argh argh argh! Do you have her email address? Perhaps you could send her an email explaining yourself. Be honest and say you CHICKENED OUT on calling her Thursday, you're new at this, you really like her and that makes you act like an idiot. Or call again, and if you get her mom, maybe explain to her? That's kinda weird, but if her mom knows the score, she might help out.
