So she decided to go with her friends, on an anniversary
ok, well, the gf decided that she would go with her friends and have a "girly" day with her friends today, a day that marks 3 months of our relationship, the longest one she has had so far, well, she thought it would be ok with me since ive been to the 3 month mark before, to just go with her friends, yes i realize the stupid bond girls have with their friends, and i realize she puts them before her guy, but this wasnt just any other day or anything, i thought she'd be happy to hang out with me today, thought itd be something to her because its the longest relationship she has ever had, but i guess not....comments welcome, please, no flaming

Re: So she decided to go with her friends, on an anniversary
Dude it has only been three months, wait a year before you get too excited. Chill out relax and don't be so possesive or it won't last a year.

Re: So she decided to go with her friends, on an anniversary
If you showed her that you were excited about it being three months it's a really bitchy thing to do. Though 3 months ain't that long, I've been with my gf a little over a year and only had formal celebrations (or even just hanging out on days we usually wouldn't see each other) on 6 months and 1 year anniversary

Re: So she decided to go with her friends, on an anniversary
An anniversary by definition commemorates a year. People have different views on celebrating benchmarks, so try not to take it so personally, if she otherwise spends enough time with you.
It's also possible she knows herself well enough to know she might be feeling cranky or pms-pissy, and the best remedy for that is a girly day. Don't expect her to 'fess up to this one, though.

Re: So she decided to go with her friends, on an anniversary
Look at the bright side, I could (and prolly will) get much worse... My old gf decided she was going to hang out with her friends on my 18th B-day, after we had been going out for over 1 1/2 years...Even though we had plans, she decided to her college's soccer game instead, since my car broke down and she didn't feel like driving. I was pissed, because by the time she finally told me, it was too late for me to find anyone else to do shit with. what a bitch
