Default All I wanted was a jumper.

So after work today I go to this Quiksilver store to buy the jumper I was looking at yesterday. A good looking girl that works there, who looked like 17 or 18, came up and asked if I needed any help. I said no I'm just looking at the jumpers. She didn't go away though, but instead started talking to me.

She asked me what I did for a job, where I usually work, how long have I been working, do I like it etc. She then goes on to tell me about this funny clip she saw on "Australias Funniest Home Video Show". The weird thing about it was that it was a clip that was shown like a year ago. Why the fuck would she tell me about that?

So I finally got the jumper that I wanted. She tells me that I should try it on and then comments how it looks good on me and how she has one similar to it.

So I make my way towards the counter and she follows me there and stands next to the counter while another dude scans it and serves me.

So why does she want to chat so much? Is it because she wants me to buy the jumper or is it something else?

So 3 people saying she's a weird schizo spaz/sociopath/crazy. And 2 people saying go back. I think I will go back. She may not even be working when I go there tomorrow though. And I don't really have the money to buy much else. Maybe I'll buy a hat or a belt or something.

So when I go in there and if she's there, what should I say to her. She is like at least 1 or 2 years older than me. How do you get older girls?

What do I say to her to tell her im interested in her then? All the girls I've gone out with I've known beforehand so it's been a bit different.

A Jumper? WTF kind of outfit is that, sounds fruity but hey.

Find out if she gets paid on commissions or if the store has a very strong sales push. Lots of female salespeople are trained to be flirtatious with customers, sex sells. You bought the "jumper" right?

Maybe her boss thought you looked suspicious, like a potential shoplifter, and "assigned" her to you. Getting chatty with customers is the way some businesses deter thievery. Probably not, but just something to think about.

That reminds me I havbe been hit on by the Hot Topic people many times, at 2 diffrent places.

Once this girl followed me around, and was trying to help me pick out clothes. She was uber hot in that gothy trashy sorta way, she was 26 and i was 17 so i didnt do anything about it. no one helps you pick out clothes that match.

and one time weird cause once i was trying on pants and this guy who worked there said that my ass looked good in them. I didnt buy them.

and this other time i was picking on these little preppy kids who were buying some clothes that they should never be seen in. I took them out of the store and pointed to abercrombie and walked back in. The sales people were laughing and then one of the girls struck up a convo about how she wishes she could do that but that she cant because she works there. Then we talked about my pants that I made, She asked me if they sold them, ( they looked really good, they had a french seam and everything. She told me she wanted a pair and gave me her phone number.) i called it like a week later and got a message machine, i didnt leave one cause it wasnt worth it.

Has anyone else ever been hit on by a store employee?

go back in and pretend your interested in buying something else...if she approaches then just chat...ask her if she's been working there long...does she like it...any other jobs etc...

Then start on what she likes to do for fun etc...music...whatever...if she has a break ask her if she wants a coffee...

there are two options

cindy's right, or she likes you

if the second is true, if she's hot or intrestin, go to the shop again, if she's an ugly or unintrestin bitch, there are other places to shop

Or, maybe she was really hyped on adderall and just felt that super-go-do-everything-talk-to-everyone feeling and took it out on you.
