hey im not much of a player when it comes to askin girls out so i need a little help.

im a sophomore in high school and in geomotry class ther is this chick sits right next to me we talk and stuff shes really hott black hair, big lips (dsl)hrh dresses up like a non-conformist.anyways im in a band and she sings i was thinkin the right approach would be to ask her to come to one of our band practices and ask her to sing for our band or somethin like that.

gimme your opinion on what i should do.

Man just walk up and ask her out. Tell that you think she a cool chick and that she pretty. She will know that you have confidence. She'll dig, girls dig guys who have confidence about them, but not so much that you come off arogant. From there you will be in the door.

But, back to the point. Tell me more about this chick. Yeah, I don't know what she'll think about the singing for your band thing, but you can always try. I'd just kinda flirt a bit and play it cool. Do you know her well? I need more info on the situation.

Anyway, I'd guess that she'd be a bit uncomfortable to sing for your band, and it would be a bit weird... But maybe you you could just ask her if she wants to meet up after your band practice or something, and go grab a bite or see a movie or something.

i know her sort of, we talk occasionaly during class about music and other stuff. she has a intrested look on her face when im talking to her so that means i guess she doesnt think im weird or anything

Ok just do it man. If you do band practices right, there should always be plenty of liquor flowing and plenty of girls around anyway. More of a party than a practice. Invite her. She her a good time. Then show her a good time.

so if i went for the band practice idea i should ask her out when things get flowin in the band right?

I know its hard to just ask a girl but you have to learn to overcome. it takes me a good 5 mins to build up the nerve to say something serious to my girlfriend. i can hear and feel my heart race when im about to bring something up.

If I was you I wouldn't do the band thing it sounds kinda stupid(no offense). If you want to ask her out just do what 909 said but ask her if she wants to see a movie rather then just straight to going out get to know her a little better outside of school then it would increase your chances of her saying yes. And it may be hard to just ask her out if you get nervous in those kind of situations, if your like me a shot or two of hard liquor will calm you down and let you think clearly but not impair you at all.

Definitly, outside of school is where u should go first, just go out for a bite or a movie, as "friends". But dont hang around her all the time, just like a bit during school, and on the weekends, and just wait for your time, but not too long, within a week or two. If you wait too long then they just lose interest, unless ur like about to inherit money, THEN WAIT!!!

P.S.-Calm is good, shaking is bad, but not unatural.

relationships in bands are terrible ideas. You've also got to take into account that your friends might not necesarily appreciate you inviting a girl, who may not be any good, into your little musical foray. Besides meeting a bunch of strange guys in a basement is an awkward first date now isn't it?

Besides that i'm not sure who mentioned that a band practice that includes lots of liquor or girls...but i don't know what band practice you're talking about, maybe i'm missing out on something. Most bands practice with just the band members in a room with good acoustics.

That aside what i would do in this situation is talk to her and get to know her, flirt a bit, then some more, then a lot. If she reciprocates ask her on a date, if that works out well...well i guess you know what to do from there.

If she says no, you can either push her away and seek relationships elsewhere, or become her friend and seek relationships elsewhere. Women aren't easy to sway after a five minute period of talking to them.
