A mistake or not?
Lately I've begun to analyze how I talk to girls. I've noticed that, when talking with girls, I talk about myself alot. It's not concieted really. For example if they say "My day sucked today" I might follow it up with "Yea mine did too." I've been trying to stop this, but then I brought up the question: Is this really a mistake? I mean I do talk about myself alot like that, but its like I'm telling the girl about myself, not bragging. It's not to the point where I do it excessively, but I notice it alot and am trying to stop,

Re: A mistake or not?
Lots of people do this. It is not "wrong", but you could do better. If a girl says she had a bad day, ask her what happened. If she tells you something, ask her why or how that makes her feel. Try to talk about her twice as much as you talk about yourself, unless she starts asking about you. Girls (and guys too) are often more interested in themselves than they are in you. If you get them talking about themselves, they will be interested in the conversation with you, and that will seem to them like interest in you. This is especially important in the acquaintance stage.
In addition, getting used to doing this will make it very easy for you to hold a conversation with just about any girl you just met.

When I talk to girls, I'm normally a nice guy. And still, AND STILL, they hate me!

Nice guys don't get the good stuff until they're 30
Also, Easy Going said it all.

Ask them why their day was so bad. Be attentive for about five minutes, then yawn and walk away halfway through their sentence. They'll go weak at the knees for you.
"Nice guys don't get the good stuff until they're 30" HAHAHAHAHA. They should thank God for the lowered standards of women with a ticking biological clock.

Therein lies your problem.
Easy Going's got in going pretty good there. Though I will add that getting a girl talking about herself does get her interested (since they're all about number one), but sometimes you gotta draw the line between listening and becoming her bitch. Don't ever act like a friend if you ever want to have a chance to bang her.

Re: A mistake or not?
Yea ive used to kinda be like that but usually ill be the one asking how their day was and all. But the nice guy doesn't always get the girl like in the movies you got to be sort of a dick and yet still be nice, you got to be both not just good.

Re: A mistake or not?
What about the girls that won't even explain? I know some chicks that get in shitty moods, tell me they're feeling bad, and then won't tell me anything else.
TEASIN BITCHES!!
