Well as some know I was to meet my g/f for the 1st time last week after months on the net and phone. She arrived last Friday morning and left this morning.

Well things were absoloutly amazing. We clicked in person and connected even more strongly than on the phone etc. I love her more now than I did before though I never thought that possible as I loved her so much as it was. She has told me the same and has said some other things that made my heart melt which is something Ive never felt with anyone before.

Things were so great for the week and it was just such a shame she couldnt stay longer but Im going to go to her next month, she has just called me from Atlanta after arriving there to get a connecting flight home and has already been looking for a cheap flight for me so I can get there sooner.

When we kissed for the first time all I could think about was never wanting this to end. When we made love it was the most amazing thing ever and I really felt something I have never felt with any other girl, it was like such an intense emotional feeling as well as the physical experience.

During the week I took her out to a candle light dinner which I had promised to do as she had never had one, when we were getting ready to go out she looked so amazingly beautiful in the shower as I shaved then she even surpassed all that and everything I could have ever hoped for by getting into the most stunning dress, anyway she was complimenting me on how I looked as I stood there with my jaw dropping at how great she looked. We had the best night as we had the whole restaraunt to ourselves and then went out for a drink.

Anyway the best bit was to come last night! She wanted her last night to be memerable but we didnt really know what to do as we had to be up for 5am to get to the airport. Anyway we had spoken of marriage and all on the phone and during the week she showeed me this wedding dress on the net and we spoke of all kinds of things about it ad she even spoke of me adopting her son which really made me realize just how much she loves me. Anwyay I put a ring on her finger last night and I am now engaged to the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life!!!

I just wanted to say thanks to anyone who has given me words of encouragement over the past wwhile abotu this and to say that I am so happy right now as Im sure is obvious by the way Im writing this. I just couldnt have hoped things would work out this well. I mean I know we spoke of marriage and engagement and all but for it to actually be now happening is just so amazing.

I'd like to read this and give you a good reply, but you really need to double space your posts and use paragraphs.

Before you decide to become husband and wife, I suggest you attempt to live together, as if you where already married, for a year and one day (I picked this idea up out of my studies of the Wicca religion).

This way, if you really would do well as a married couple, you should be able to live together for a year and a day, if not, you won't have to worry about getting divorced, and splitting up all of your possessions. Still, it is not fool-proof, but it is better then nothing.

I know some of my threads were long and tedious etc, but hey I wa in love with the woman of my dreams and not able to eve ntouch her! Frustrating doesnt even come close to describing it!

Anyway thatnks to all for the congrats and I know that some of my worrying was pointless but I am still glad I was cautious, I mean there were still a few sort of shocks for the two of us after we met. I mean she told me things she hadnt gone into detail about and I told her things too but it all turned out fine.

Anyway Ive just gotten off the phone with her and while I was on it she was sending me an email, a kind of a private ongoing thing we have had about dreams/ fantasies, anyway Ive just read it and well as far as I was concerned the lovemaking was amazing and she had said the same to me in person, anyway she has just sent me another sort of fantasy kind of about what happened on our second night together like that and well lets just say she says she was very very very happy!!! And you know what Im going to brag a bit here, in saying that I am bewing very modest about what she actually wrote me!?!?!? Other than to say we had some really great nights and mornings and afternoons together!

On a more serious note we did have a wonderful time and she is as I write this looking to get into a college over her and all, though it would be beter for me to go to her.

Anyway thanks again for the support etc, I am grateful for it. I am engaged now though! Isn't that fucking amazing? Well I think it is! As do a few people I know!

Well I know what you mean about the frustration. My love is in florida right now of course its different then with you because I met her first before we kept in touch online. And its worse for me since her step mom and dad are hell bent on not letting me see/talk to her ever again but our love will conqur that. Congratulations on getting engaged and everything, hope your realationship is a happy one that lasts a long time.

congrats man Don't know how you lived through that! My girlfriend is also long distance but I used to be her neighbor before I moved away, and I still get nervous every time I see her. If I was you I'd have a heart attack hehe

..Aside from that painful rememberance of mine; congratulations, you two, and I wish you all the best. You may want to take it just a tiiiiny bit slower (not focus on marriage JUST yet) and wing it a little. There should be a little mystery/surprise in every good relationship, but that's just my opinion. Go wherever your heart takes you, dude.

We aren't planning on getting married anytime real soon. We do plan on doing so and are very serious about it but she is in college and we both want her to finish before we get married. I mean I don't want her having the distraction of planning two weddings while studying. I say two but of course there will be only one which will most likly be in the US but then we will have a big blessing kind of thing back here in Ireland. Thats not a certainty but my Grandmother who raised me is not really able for that kind of travelling and it would be for her benefit though we might just have the whole thing here and ship all her family and friends over for it but its a while away yet.

Anyway for the time being we will just be travelling back and forth. I hope to have the money raised to go over there next month and she wants to come here again in the summer if Im not over with her long term by then though I do hope to be. She has to do a work placement for college and she wants to do it over here for the 2 months if Im not with her in the US by then and thats going to be May or June. We should get to see a fair bit of each other over the comning months if all goes well.

I do consider myself lucky every day that she loves me. I mean we were almost but not quite b/f and g/f before we even spoke on the phone and it only took a few days for us to see we were in love after we first spoke on the phone. Anyway I think there is a whole lot more there now than just love though. I mean she has said some pretty profound things to me as I have to her and I just feel so great and so lucky every day I know her. I mean this girl loves me for me and nothing else as I love her for the persobn she is but on top of that she is just so stunning to look at. I mean she is a model among other things and for her to be with someone like me, though Im not ugly or anything I wouldnt claim to be the best looking guy in the world and yet Im with a girl who in my eyes is the best looking girl in the world.

Now I know everyone will say that about the one they love but out of anyone of my friends that have seen her or a pic of her not one had anything but massive compliments on how she looked. I mean the males want to be with her and the females want to look like her. Now not one of my friends no matter how good looking their g/f is has ever had every single person say great things about their g/f as there will always be one who says something bad.

Anyway point is Im engaged to the woman of my dreams she says the same of me and I really think we can have the best future together.

I dont really know why I am bothering to dignify this with a response but Im going to anyway!

First off I amn't fucking stupid! I have thought about why she isnt with him and all that other shit that you talk about.

There are alot of reasons but mainly because he was abusive to her among other things that Im not getting into. Anyway my mother was a single mother and I know she didnt get involved with the guy she is still with since I was 3 because she wanted a daddy for hr child.

I am not getting into this blindly. She isnt looking for a daddy for her child, I know she has major issues around this because she is afraid I might be thinking that but I know shes not doing that. I mean she is so independent it can be frightening at times. I mean there are times I want to do something for her and she will just have none of it.

As for her looking for cash... well while she was here for a week she had very little cash due to bills at home along with other things Ive mentioned in previous posts. Anwyay she had to get souveniers and all for some people at home which was going to take up alot of her cash yet she still spent over half her cash on presents for me. She offered to pay for a whole lot more too only I wouldnt let her and it wasnt just her trying to make it look like she wanted to pay. I mean we had some problems about this as she got a bit upset with me over some things I bought and I know she was genuine.

Anyway as far as living with her for a few months goes well I did that for the week and we got on so so well and normally I can tell in a day or so with a girl if that kind of thing will work and this did. I mean we are so comfortable around each other everytihng is just so natural!

I dont care about all this you go on about really. I know I love her and she loves me and thats all I care about!

Ive just turned 25 and she is 21.

Ive been in serious relationships before but never like this and though it was our 1st time meeting in person we already knew each other so well. We are so close in every way it is amazing.
