Ok, lately I've been through a lot of mental problems, and am on a lot of medication. Somewhere in here I got wicked insomnia where I wouldn't sleep for 3 or 4 days at a time. I finaly got some sleeping pills, but I'm still a light sleeper.

Why is this in S&A you ask. When you're as light a sleeper as I am, every little noise wakes you up. And the noises my brother and his girlfriend are making in the next room certianly qualify.

They also make me sick to my stomach, literaly. So I stay up all night with studio headphones on and a loud CD turned up all the way. It helps some.

I've tried pounding on the wall, and even screaming at them to keep it the hell down.

I've got to do something about it before I go even crazier and do something that sends me to the psych ward and/or prison.

sounds to me like you just need to get away from it all. take a few days off, go somewhere, relax, and forget about your life. just some "you" time, yknow? it'll help...

Great advice, but I can't take days off because I don't have days on, and can't go anywhere cause I have no car and no licnese. As for relaxing I do have a pile of xanax. And for forgeting my life, I believe that's why tequila was invented.

That's also why Xanax and alcohol potentiate each other.

Seeing as you've tried blocking the sound out, and have found that to be ineffective, you should try and talk to him about keeping it down (not while he is having sex, of course, before).

Noise cancelling heaadphones are always good.
