I know I'm opening myself for flames, but I sometimes have non-sexual boners (as does everyone).

A couple time I have been with my nephew, I've been holding him (he's 3 years old), and I get a boner. Before you go off on me, this is totally non-sexual, I don't feel aroused or anything, I just seem to get them sometimes. I remember hearing about somebody who got a boner from petting his cat, it's fucked up but they can go off for no reason.

I'd like to state once more that I've never had any sexual thoughts towards my nephew, or any child for that matter.

And for all the people about to call me a peadeophile, fuck you, I would never touch my nephew, or any other kid, I wouldn't even WANT to. Paedeophiles deserve to rot in hell, or at least be castrated.

Can anyone shed some light as to what may be causing this, or tell us about your non-sexual boners.

If you're all healthy and normal, the average male should be getting 9 boners a day... Sometimes I get one in the mornings when I wake up, so it's nothing to worry about. It just seems like you're getting them at inapporpriate times, or you're noticing them at inappropriate times. Just make sure your nephew's parents don't see you with one when you're around your nephew, or it could lead to an uncomfortable situation. So yea, I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you.

That's the main problem, my sister seeing me holding my nephew with a hard-on. Wouldn't look too good.

Well, the point I'm trying to make is that it's normal, especially if you're in your teens... Just ask any of your friends and you should get an idea of what I'm talking about. Just try not to spend too much time with your nephew when your sister is around and you should be just fine. Or talk to your brother in law about it, even though I don't think it's that big of a deal. Try noticing the times when you're having these erections, and you'll probably find that it's happening around the same time each day, i.e when you're taking a bath or you've just woken up.

I'm 17. When I think about it, out of all the 30 or so times I've picked him up, it's only happened about twice, and you're right, it happens mostly morning time after I've spent the night there.
