i noticed on sunday, around 7:30am that i had a small sliver object in me. it might be metal, im almost certain that it is. i spent about 30 minutes digging at it with tweezers but couldn't get it out. i went to sleep with it in me and figured that i would deal with it the next day. i forgot about it and now it's monday night. it now has a brownish layer of skin over it, almost like a zit. what should i do about this?

i just realzied that this post is in the wrong area.

even if this is the wrong area...if you cant dig it out with tweezers, you probably have a metal splinter, and you need to get to the doctor to get it out. They deal with it all the time. You are probably going to need a tetanus booster too. That sucks. Tetanus boosters hurt. But they are better than tetanus.

where exactly is this object located on you?

I typically dont notice things like this, but today i was paying attention, and i gotta ask, did you mean to write a topic named "possible infection" followed by the thumbs up message icon? It made me giggle. Then i figured it might be an accident.
