Is it normal(and no this thread isn't about sex)
I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 weeks now(yea I know what a long time but for me thta really is a long time, I think I have commitment problems)well anywho I think he is a to clingy and it is starting to annoy me because he is kind of like a dog because he follows me around and wants me to come over a lot. Also, I was single for a very long time before I went out with him and I'm wondering if maybe I'm just used to the single life and I haven't grown accustomed to the dating life or is he just weird?I'm thinking about breaking up with him but I was just wondering if I should give this more time and see what happens or if I should just dump him before he turns into a psycho stalker....He just called me as well(I just checked my messages)

Re: Is it normal(and no this thread isn't about sex)
You have relationship issues, not him.
When you're with someone, you are attracted to them, you like being around them, you WANT to be around them. He calls you because he likes you, he wants you to come over because he enjoys your company, there's an attraction. That part clear?
If you can so nonchalantly consider breaking up with him then there are obviously no feelings for him on your part. Why are you wasting HIS time?
He's not a stalker. You just don't know what a relationship consists of.. you've got to be younger than 13 I'm assuming.
Tell me then, what I "normal" boyfriend should act like after being together for 2 weeks?

No shit? I don't even care what the rest of your post says, because you cannot have had a real relationship at this point in your life. It takes longer than two weeks for the fucking to be considered a "relationship" honey. If he fucking bothers you so much, end the "relationship" so he can be with a woman (instead of you who are a "girl") that actually likes being with him. Guys don't like being led on by immature girls that pretend to care but really don't.

Re: Is it normal(and no this thread isn't about sex)
ok then well obviously that answers my question and ye sif you must no i am 13 and i don't think that it is o so bad to have relationship issues at my age so if it's me who has the problems and not him (which really doesnt surprise me) How can I break up with him without hurting him because I think he is more of a girl then me because he's the one who puts my name everywhere and tells everyone he loves me and no i'm not a lesbian I'm obviously just not ready for a relationship, but I would like to know a nice way to break up with him and stay his friend because we were friends before we started dating. And after two weeks of dating I don'y teally expect him to be so close but since I have been single for a while I guess I'm just not used to it but yes I will break up with him because I am a waste of his time because I did like being around him until we started to date so umm yea if you could just give me a nice way to dump him.If there even is one.

Re: Is it normal(and no this thread isn't about sex)
before you started dating?
you're 13, what's dating? it's just playing house. holding hands in school and telling people you're going out. possibly getting your parents to drive you to the movies occasionally.
anyways, tell him exactly what you just said, about not being ready for a relationship and stuff.

Re: Is it normal(and no this thread isn't about sex)
At first I was going to go off on you about how dumb it is for you to want to dump a guy for being what you call being "clingy".
But now that I hear that you're 13, all I have to say now is that you shouldn't be worrying about dating. Run along and play.

Re: Is it normal(and no this thread isn't about sex)
You think he is more of a girl than you are? I don't think it is girlish of him to say he loves you, I think that is immature because you two have only seen each other for two weeks. But I don't think it is girlish. Expressing positive feelings for your partner is part of any healthly relationship, zestyturtle.
Tell him nicely that you just want to be friends. Explain that you don't think you are ready for a relationship (honesty is a good policy), but value his friendship. Make it very clear that you value his friendship. That should do it.

Re: Is it normal(and no this thread isn't about sex)
Ok thank you and would you please stop making fun of me for only being 13 and calling me immature because I don't think you should really call me immature do to my age and inexperience in life. Just because I haven't done many things doesn't mean I'm immature, you must take my age as somewhat of an excuse for my stupidity.
EDIT:Actually after rereading this and seeing how incredibly stupid it sounds I give you full permission to amke fun of me and I would delete it, but I think I deserve the flaming that I am about to recieve.

Re: Is it normal(and no this thread isn't about sex)
^What? I read that 3 times and it still makes no sense. You don't have relationship problems, you have communication problems. Maybe you should stop thinking about boys and start paying attention in English class?
You've been single for a while? Honey, you've been single you're whole life. In fact, single cannot describe you, you've never been a part of a couple..
At 13 you shouldn't have relationship issues because you don't know what a relationship is!
Adolescent dating; it's expected that "being together" means writing each others names all over your belongings and talking on the phone after school. He sounds like a pretty normal kid going through the normal (however erratic) emotions of a 13 year old.
Just tell him you don't want to be together, you just want to be friends. I promise he'll get over you...
..in a few minutes.

Hah, I somehow think of you as my little sister, which means "shut up, you don't know what you're talking about, and you're not allowed to date."
