Comfortable?
How comfortable are you with your girlfriend/boyfriend? I would just like to hear peoples opinions on this matter...

Re: Comfortable?
I'm unsure. At the back of my mind I have the terrible fear that he could cheat on me again and hurt me as bad as he did before, yet on the other hand being with anyone else is the scariest thought in the world. I want him and only him. Hes my best friend of the past 3 and a half years. What more do we need? We can do the friend thing and the dating thing and it works great.

Re: Comfortable?
A lot of times it's hard to feel comfortable around your [girlfriend], especially when you don't know each other well or know each other too well.
But it seems ideal to have a mate that you feel comfortable with. On the other hand, being uncomfortable with your [chick] can be a good thing. That way it keeps you on your toes, if you will.
Let me explain:
The majority of relationships are based on the masks, or outer shell of the individuals, which are projected initially to attract the opposite sex. When one becomes comfortable with his/her partner, this mask is let down completely or partially. This often results in a loss of attraction to the "demasked" individual.
Therefore, you can see that becoming comfortable with your mate can be dangerous, as you feel less of a need to hide your true self, which eventually leads to the decay of the relationship.
To sum up, being comfortable with your girlfriend should be done with caution.

Re: Comfortable?
The girl I'm with now likes to stare at me with a blank look on her face. I don't know what that means, I think it means she is scared of me. Or she is trying to intimidate me.
Frankly I don't like intimacy and I'm a little scared of her.

Re: Comfortable?
I'm very comfortable with my boyfriend... I agree with the friends and dating thing- works very well, t least for 2 years it has for me.
Just keep communication open, don't base your relationship solely on sex, and be understanding and trustworthy. Add some love in there, and that's all you need.
