Depilatory creams!
So I've been thinking... I'm curious what it would be like to shave down there, but it's scary enough dragging a razor-sharp, uh, razor accross my reasonably level and firm cheek, never mind my soft, pliable and infinitely-sensitive scrotum...
So how about a depilatory cream? Has anyone tried it or heard anything about it? Is it safe to use down under?

Re: Depilatory creams!
Do they work on us chicks too?
I itch like hell for about a week after I shave, then I vow not to do it again, then I do in another few days.

Re: Depilatory creams!
It hurts. I have done it multiple times. The stinging lasts about two days. It even says on the bottle "not for use on genitals".
I am a girl, and I have found that I can use it on the bulk (and, that is worth the two shitty days it stays smooth for a lot longer than shaving), but dont use it on sensitive skin like the hair that grows along anything below The beginning of your outer labia.
I would say don't use it on your scrotum. I believe that is pretty sensitive skin, just shave. Or, brave it up and wax (god that would hurt).

Re: Depilatory creams!
Ack, I was using depilatory creams successfully for more than a year, mostly between waxing appointments, and I never had a problem. Then one fine day recently I used it as usual and it stung like hell! Thinking it was some temporary sensitivity thing or whatnot, I tried it again 2 weeks later and the same thing happened. Allergies and sensitivities can develop at any time, so I have a hard time recommending this stuff anymore.

Re: Depilatory creams!
You know, I would never apply a product 'down there' that is able to eat away at something as strong as keratin (the protein hair is composed of). Considering our own digestive juices are unable to break it down. That's just me though.

Re: Depilatory creams!
Just shave. The little nicks and scratches might sting like shit, but they heal real quick. Pansy.
