Default hmmm... i hate uncertainty :(

theres probly loads of threads like this but i dont care. heres the situation:

i like this girl and want to ask her out. me and her are in the same class with other people from different schools (some special lesson, dont ask questions i cant answer) . She made her own friends with the other students and i made mine. One day, completely randomly she asks me for help. 5 minutes later shes sitting next to me talking to me- nothing to do with work at all. she hadnt fallen out with any friends at all, nothing that would have made her move but she just decided to sit with me.

I never really talked to her before, so i didnt even really know her. after class i walk her home (didnt ask her number i was just surprised goddammit).

I dont know if that actually means anything . damn im confused. i wanna ask her out but i want what you guys think about my situation.

Im not really new to girls and have had girlfriends in the past so i have the guts to ask her out but i dont know if i should.

no flames plz

Instead of going and straight asking her out, why not try talking to her a little more? Dates have this level of pressure to impress that render them a poor method of getting to know someone. Find out what kind of person she is and how well you get along. If you two don't mesh, nothing's really lost. If, to steal from William Gibson, your "boy-girl Lego doesn't click", but you get along, hey, you made a friend. And if you hit it off well, then everything will come along relatively naturally.

Get to know her better. I made a similar mistake with asking out a girl I knew and talked to, but didn't know much about. We only went out for a week. That was a few months ago and since then I've learned a lot about her and we're going back out now. But I wish I hadn't asked her out so soon. Things would've been much easier to get where I am now if I would've waited.
