Default Schizo g/f?

Ok first a little bit of background info

Me and my g/f we've been together 2 months, she's 14 i'm 15.

She's been through quite a lot (won't get into details), been suicidal a lot and attempted it 6 times (that i know of)

So anyways, we're in my bedroom just messing around, kissing etc, then all of a sudden within 1 second she's in a corner of my room crying her eyes out. I go lay next to her and after 2 minutes she goes to grab my hand.

This suggests that it wasn't something i had done, it could have been the music but i'd listened to it before with her without having this reaction.

It sounds VERY much like manic-depression, which is what i have.

Thier are only 2 kinds of people that try to commit suicide over 2 times: people looking of attention (kinda like a narcissic personality) and people with bi-polar who dont get it "Treated".

Sounds fucked man.

Just assure her that you're there for her and she should calm down a little.

She's at an age where she's "obliged" to want more attention and do dumb things all the time...Believe me...I have a sister her age!

Well i don't think she does it for attention as when she attempted it she didn't want anyone to know.

Well after 6 times I think she would've got it done if she really wanted to do it.

I've seen this before many times, many people, of all ages. Like many totse folks, I tend to "socialize" with sociopaths. Here are some "truths" I've learned:

1. It's never about you, no matter what she says/does.

2. She'll get much, much worse before she gets better.

3. Nothing you do will help her, unless you're an extraordinarily wealthy philanthropist with a team of psychiatrists at your disposal, and a pleasant, secluded compound staffed with compassionate, patient folks.

What you CAN do:

Listen, be patient and don't ever ask "what's wrong." Be concerned, but try not to treat her like a crazy person and try to keep your facial expression neutral. It's like saving someone who's drowning: you can't try to grab them or reach for them because it will confuse them and make them panic. All you can do is hold out a lifesaver, or your hand, and hope they can grab ahold.

You won't get laid being tactful. And if you do, it won't be angry and aggressive.

That doesn't sound like schizophrenia in the least. Besides, it usually doesn't manifest itself till later on.

You should show her this site. Maybe the 7th times she tries she might get it right. She'll feel good inside when she realizes she has succeeded.

Bingo.

She says she doesn't want anyone to know but she'll gladly let people know where she got the scars from!

Seen it a million times in the pub I go to...It's a metal pub filled with teenage girls who listen to too much Korn and shit like that and believe that just because the singer is sad, they should be sad too!

They'll cut themselves then show their scars off.

Amazing how stupid people can be!
