Well if you read my last topic."afraid to fall in love again". You will know what I am talking about.

Well my ex finally got a boyfriend. The first couple days I felt like shit. Then today I feel a whole lot better. Knowing that I can finally move on, and know that her mixed signals mean nothing. I feared for this day. So I never made this day happen myself. I knew it would come, and didn't know how I'd react to it. She is gone now, and I stopped wearing a ring she got me, I wore it everyday since we split in hopes that we would be back together and it would prove my love to her.

She got her boyfriend, I decided that this was it. I'm not going to wait for her to come around any longer. Though it is partially my doing that we won't have anything again. I wrote a song, it hurt her a lot. Even though we weren't going out at the time. We are best friends and yet our friendship was damaged a little bit because of it. It is going back to the way it was before we even went out. Today was the happiest I have been in a while. I should have made this day happen a long time ago.

Good for you. I was like you very recently, when I didn't want to believe that me and my ex were over, and I held on for far too long. Glad to see you're moving on.
