ok last night i tripped some acid. my g.f asked me if i was going to do it and i said no, and i already told her today that i only drank. i feel like a fucking jackass about lying about it so do you think i should just call her and be like you know what i tripped. i dont intend on doing it again, but im just afraid its really going to hurt her. so any advice would be cool.

Alright, first of all, lying isn't the coolest thing in the world to do and it looks like you have already noticed that. It seems like you just didn't want to hurt her feelings because you had already promised her that you wouldn't do it and you did. So, I think the best thing to do is to be honest and tell her instead of her finding out some other way, like someone else telling her. It will also make you look more mature to her if you tell her your mistake and face up to it then for her to find out you lied from someone else. To me, that's not the worse thing you could do, so she probably will forgive you. Good luck, I hope my advice helped you.

Why would you lie about tripping. If it bothered her that much you would be having a serious discussion about this with her not us. God man grow some fucking balls. Don't do this behind your back shit it only fucks things up for everybody.

what are the chances of her finding out...ie does she know anyone you were tripping with? If she does, it's worth it to tell her. She finds out from someone else and things will not be cool, trust me. Be prepared to beg for forgiveness. Then again, if there is NO WAY she could find out, dont tell, just dont do it again (I by no means advocate lying!)

Thanks for your suggestions. I think I'll tell her when she calls back later. Or would it be better to do in person? I don't want to wait for school tomorrow because she might find out from someone else because her friends sister was there when i tripped, and I told her to say I only drank, but she's not that reliable. So umm.... yeah. Phone or person?

Person is better, but if her sister was there then she is probably going to tell her. I mean, its her sister! So, it depends. If you are more comfortable doing it over the phone and want to get it over with before she hears about it from her sister then talk to her on the phone and then in school you can talk to her again. But, if the sister is reliable and you can trust her, then just wait. Talking to someone face to face is better then over the internet or phone.

I wouldn't tell her. Let this be a personal inside conflict. Learn from this, never do it again if it.

i just called her and told her and she took it really well and she said just not to lie to her again but she still trusts me ^_^ i guess it's all good, thanks people.
