Well, that's a bit like saying you want an awesome, fulfilling, well-paying job without searching for it. You hear of the rare one "falling into someone's lap" but for most of us, this never happens.

My two cents anyway, if all you're getting from girls are friends it's because you're not making your intentions clear. A girl will be your friend if you just joke around with her and treat her like you would a guy. In order to differentiate your intention between, "Let's be friends", and, "Hey what are you up to Saturday night," you need to be more flirty. Look in her eyes and smile when you're in class or passing in the halls, always say hi, and flirt with her, tell her she looks good today. "I like your hair/clothes/breasts," what have you, after she's comfortable with you bring a physical aspect into it touch her hand or somesuch. Ask for her SN on AIM or MSN or something, or her phone number...Most of this is common sense but a lot of kids just ignore it for some reason.

A lot of kids also don't get dates.
