Ok so as some know my g/f was to arrive this week! Today in fact.

Problem is that I was able to get a ticket cheaper here for her and she had sent money for it as she wouldnt let me pay. Anyway someone must have seen me getting it out of the bank and I was a bit drunk on the way home from work going to get a train. I was walking through a park and 2 guys jumped me with bars and I ended up with a bit of a kicking and a missing wallet. I got up and went after them and caught one and managed to get about 230euro and my phone back before the other hit me accross the head again with the bar and I then ended up with a couple of cracked ribs and a cracked jaw along with a few other bruises.Ok this was on tuesday which was the last day for me to pay for the flights so she cant come this week and we are now trying to get one for this day next week. Anyway she was real upset as this is the 2nd time Ive had to cancel as the first I didnt have enough notice to get the ticket sorted. She was real upset abou the 1st time as it meant not being here for my birthday and this time she misses our anniversary and Valentines day and I think she was sure I was going to propose on Valentines day (I wasnt as I had something else in mind) Anyway she is really really in a bad way at the moment as she had made all these plans for people to cover her teaching job and for her parents to look after her child and all. I have made plans too and as my house is being decorated have made al sorts of demands of people to get the workfinished so it would be ok when she arrive.

Ok basically we have both ben dissapointed and she cant come after next week as she has college and her childs birthday and teaching and all sorts of other stuff and me going over there is a bit of a hassle and besides I want o get her away from where she is to give her a break as she has had a tough time latly and needs a holiday and besides I think I would also be more comfortable here as I have some things planned.

Like I said though Valentines day and our "anniversary" (2 month officially but its a bit longer than that really more like 4) will have passed and I told her I would make it up to her and we could have our own day with both combined but I dont really know what to do for it. I mean I had plansif she was here but they were nothing too major but because of the dissapointment and all I really want to make one day of her visit really really special and for us both to remember it forever. I don't particularly have a lot of cash for it as I have to still pay off a fair bit on a few things for when she is here so I cant really be too exxtravagant with the csh but I dont think thats too important and besides she isnt really materialistic.

I just want us to do something special she will remember! Any suggestions? Thanks!

Youve been going out for 2 months and you have never even been with her in person and you are already thinking of praposing to her!!! I mean thats cool you dig her personality and not just looks but shit i think you are rushing things marriage is a serious thing.

Its not that Im just thinking about it. I mean unless something really bad happens between us between now and then I will be doing it. I mean she really wants me to and is insisting that I only do it if I want the same thing as her and at this moment in time I do.

As for us actually getting married well that won't be happening for a while as she needs to graduate from college and I will have to get all my stuff sorted over here so I could go over there to her. Though she keeps saying she would like to move here permanantly I dont think it would be the easiest thing for her as she has a child and other commitments that I dont have.
