Well here's the story, I was going out with a girl for a few months but then a really hot chick at a party asked me to go inside for a fuck. Then I thought what the hell am I thinking, I'd have to be an idiot to do this. I love her too much, and I said "no".

I used to say that I'd never ever cheat on a partner. That was until sexy Scotsmen started finding me attractive.

I was going out with Craig (who I really liked) and then my friend's cool older brother Bob asked me to go out. I thought he was just being nice and there was no chance I could get with him, but we ended up hooking up. So of course my boyfriend found out. He gave me another chance, but it was just too weird, so we broke up.

So then I ended up with Bob. We had been going out for like 2 months when I had my Christmas dance. I got super wasted at the after party, and I ended up making out with this super hot guy from my school. I told him the next day. He was super upset, but he knew it was just a drunken mistake (I get sooooo incredibly horny when I drink) and I felt super bad about it.

We're still together, and in love. I've gotten over Craig, although I still feel bad. And I still feel super bad about cheating on Bob too, but he forgave me, so I'm trying to forgive myself. I will keep my promise about not cheating now, because now I know how much it hurts everyone involved. I should have known enough in the first place, I'm just really insecure and it was weird to go from guys not even knowing who I am to the "hot canadian exchange student" who everyone wants to hook up with. Meh.

I just read this and realised I say 'super' way too much'. Oh well.

And by the way, cheating doesn't make you a bad person, it just means you're weak/horny.

Alright, I don't have any experiences with cheating, but I know that infidelity is never the problem in a relationship, but always a symptom of a larger, unresolved, sometimes unknown problem. What you need to do, is realize what that problem is and work to resolve it. If you can't figure out what it is, or you can't resolve it, you need to leave your girlfriend because it can't be a very healthy relationship.

well i think you should figure out how to deal with it on your own and you should definitely tell her ... cheated on ex bf ... but i was on honest and told like the next day and i completely felt like shit and it felt sooooo horrible got a second chance and blew it in a week ... told within two days ... felt even more like shit didn't get another chance, which is completely understandable because well, i fucked up and kinda didn't really deserve another chance and i fully admit to being wrong but i was very VERY depressed for like the next two weeks after we broke up but then winter break came along and i decided to just have fun (getting drunk & stoned & hooking up, hey i was single then) ... kinda got over it by doing that, not suggesting to go crazy or wahtever but it helped to make me realize that i wasn't gonna feel like shit forever and i could move on ... and i have cuz i have a new bf (been goin out like a month) and i know there ain't no way in freakin hell i'm gonna do that again because well it's like the worst thing you could do to someone and i know i wouldn't because i like/care about him too much ... i still feel bad about what i did to my ex but that is inevitable ... but usually these things happen for a reason, either to resolve a problem between people in a relationship or a wake up call that maybe either a relationship or that person is not what you really want and being drunk is no real excuse because usually what you do when you're drunk, you already had the idea in your head before, being drunk just makes it seem ok because you feel out of it and it gives you the confidence to do something ... people use being drunk as an excuse too often for stuff like this ... the point is, if you did it, be honest, admit it, say you're sorry and face the consequences, you may either get a second chance (if you're really really lucky, don't blow it, if it happens again, think on what you really want out of this relationship) or you'll break up and if you do, you will NOT feel so low forever you will eventually get over it, just have to get through it and deal with it.

I'm not a slut, I've only ever slept with one guy. And I'm not using alcohol as an excuse either. There is no excuse for what I did, I'm just admitting my mistake and trying to move on. I'm just saying that all this hooking up/relationship crap is way more complicated than I expected.
