she was going on and on about what i was going to get her for valentine's day, and how i'd get her a purebred pug because i love her blah blah blah blah blah - when i stand up and very matter of factly ask her who she's fucking this week, and why she doesn't ply him for the various shit she wants. i then proceed to speculate that it's because i'm the only swinging dick she knows who's at least moderately successful, and more than likely the only one who could take an expense like that in stride. after that i told her that if that were the case she could probably simply spread her legs a few more times and get whatever she wants from whoever she wants an std from for v day.

after having gone through all that background, i told her she could respond if she wanted to lose yet another fight - which she most certainly would have. she didn't say word, but ran crying from the house - did i go too far?

there are exceptions to every rule, but you know as well as i that "some" girls is a huge majority. this is why i asked guys to go ahead and blow off valentines day and see if she acts the same as if you had bought her the flowers, gifts, dinner, etc. the number of women who treat sex in a logical manner is miroscopic.

i've never replied to one of your posts concerning your relationship with this guy, but i have been reading them.

i'm not entirely sure how we get ourselves into these messes, but we do. and you, dear sarc, got screwed.

I posted this story before but i figure that since this topic is close to what happened i guess i'll repost it...

Anyways...

After i lost my girlfriend of nearly 3 1/2 years i went through and am still going through a period of extreme depression and not giving a fuck about the emotions of anybody.

Anyways...I remember what happened and even though i may not be 100% accurate on what people said i'm just posting what i remember.

So i met this girl...Real nice girl...Nice body...Nice chest and real cute...Well i figured that she would help me get over my lost love so i made my move and found out later that she liked me from one of her friends...Well i thought this was cool so i started to date her.

After a while of dating(2 months) we met at the mall for her to pick up some stuff for her birthday party that was to be in a few days.

I had already got her this 49 dollar necklace that was real nice and shit and had her birthstone in it...Well i was helping her get some stuff and who should we run into?...Her friend who told me that she liked me in the first place.

Well i'm sitting there and her friend and her went to use the restroom.

So they go into the girls room and with my interest peaked about what they were going to say(you know girls talk in the room) i snuck in and listened as they talked in a low but hearable tone.

I believe thier conversation went something like this...

Friend:So you and Brandon(me) are really hitting it off huh?

GF:Eh...He's alright...Not really a keeper...Certainly the kind you can mine for goods if you know what i'm saying.

Friend:So your gonna dump him?

GF:I'll keep him around a little longer...Maybe untill after the birthday party...And after i get my present.

Friend:Fine...

That's when it ended and they started to wash their hands.

I quickely left the restroom and assumed my seat in the chair outside the restroom.

The next day i got up early and went to the mall and returned the present i got her and went out and bought a new dvd and a quarter bag of weed with the money and had a little bit left over.

And then i left...

Hadn't seen her since or talked to her since...For a reason too.

Later that night after the party me and my friends toked up some weed and watched the DVD while laughing about what happened...
