Going On A Date If You Can't Drive?
Go see my other thread about the blockbuster girl. I was thinking..if she does agree to go out with me sometime, what the fuck do I do? I can't drive. I don't know if she does either..and I'd feel like a chump being like "so..wanna meet me there?"..or "wanna take a bus with me?".
Ha.
Before anyone else says it, I need to stop worrying, and trying to plan shit before it's even near happening...but comment anyways.

Re: Going On A Date If You Can't Drive?
Don't worry to much about it. It's that big of a deal that you think it is. Just work it into the conversation and most of all don't make it sound like a big deal. Just go "So do you want to go to the movies..." Blah Blah Blah, then discuss what time, place, and movie, then before you go, just be like, "Ok so I'll meet you there around 7:30." Give her a wink and walk. But don't go for the bus idea. Because then it seems like your poor. No offense. But if she can't drive either then she will know where you are coming from and she can relate. And even if she can drive just play it safe and say you'll meet her there. Good luck with that man.

Re: Going On A Date If You Can't Drive?
First off, who the hell would want to be with someone who would make a big deal out of not being old enough to drive? Unless of course, you're old enough but you're too lazy to get a job or license. Besides those two reasons, it shouldn't be a problem unless she's a materialistic bitch.
Personally, I say take the bus. Buses kick ass.

Re: Going On A Date If You Can't Drive?
Let's set up a quick little scene. Guy sees girl while girl is working. Guy converses with girl. Guy asks girl out. All this happens in about five minutes. Realistically, the best the guy can hope for is that she says yes out of curiosity and he can win her over later.
If she's your age- and as you said, she could be older- she can get a date with a guy who drives. The fact you don't is a mark against you on the first impression scale. You have to be able to make up for that in order to make a date feasible.
These are two ideas, not mutually exclusive; others may have more:
1. Talk to her every time in there. It'll probably be obvious you're hitting on her, but what can you do? At worst, you'll get the sense she's not into you, and you can stop trying. If it seems like she does take a liking to you, then you can build on that until you reach a point where you think the fact you don't drive won't affect her answer if you ask her out. Maybe it'll come up in conversation, which will show you exactly whether that turns her off a bit or not.
2. Again, talk to her whenever you can, but if you have a couple of friends who are dating (and have a car), you can shoot for a double date. That way, you get a chance to show her your good side while negating the bad effect of having no transportation. It's a good way to go, but you need willing and able friends. It helps if the other girl is friendly. (Well, it helps if they're both friendly, but especially the girl.)
Given your other post, I wish to specifically note that at no point have I said any of this is a good idea. You have some other shit to take care of.

Or you could just meet her someplace romantic near the movie theatre and show up 15 minutes early and wait and then walk. Later if she wants to go to your car, beat her over the head with your enormous mushroom.

Re: Going On A Date If You Can't Drive?
Drat, I wish I'd archived the thread I started about this about a month ago on behalf of a non-driving friend.
I believe the consensus was "don't worry about it." Just be honest and let her know the situation. Have some alternative solutions in mind, run them by her and ask which works best for her, whether it may be walking, meeting somewhere, hopping the bus, catching a ride with a friend or (ugh) parent.
