Default GFs medical problems?

I have been going out with this gurl for 3 weeks, and I have found out that she has a few medical problems. She has diabties, and she has a problem with her lungs Its like she has asthma all the time. I went to her house and i freaked, she has a huge ass breating machine. She has had a lot of surgerys. I want to learn more infomation about what she has, but I am kinda scared to ask. Any advise on how to aproach her about what she has?

Nonchalanty ask about the machine. I'm not sure how to help you actually. I would ask about it. But then again I screw up a lot.

Hmm, how did the sight of the machinery make you freak out? Did you envision years from now, being married and having to deal with her medical conditions?

Teen relationships rarely last that long, so relax.

For any other reason, you might consider handling it the way a good (male) friend handles such things. Smile, be chipper, look 'em in the eye, and blurt out, "Wow, so what's the story here?" He'll do that to anyone (strangers!) with any infirmity, from quadruple amputees to folks with half their face missing. Amazingly, he always gets a positive response. Then again, he's an odd one who's fascinated with anything out of the ordinary. If such things make you uncomfortable, you might not come off the right way.

I wouldn't reccomend that. ALOT of people who have disabilities hate that kind of sympathy. It's the thing that pisses them off the most. I've got a friend who was born with one arm, and she, like others hate that crap.

I have an idea of what you are thinking! I mean my g/f has a hole in her heart and has had multiple surgeries on it along with a whole lot of other medical problems. I know that part of the reason she finished with her ex was that he didnt want to know or help her out when she was in any way sick at all.

Anyway I don't care about her being sick at all as I love her for her and I have taken an interest and tried to understand what she is going through. She is always telling me she is so happy that I have done that and that is part of why she loves me so much. If I was you I would take some interest, I mean if she has an illness its something that you will have to deal wth eventually especially if you are getting serioous with the girl!
