Default Alcohol, Parties, and Girls?

Pretty fun topic name, huh?

Here's the scenario: It was a semi-tame house party at my friend's girlfriends house, and this girl I've known practically since I was born but never got to know too well is all over me. Sounds great right? Well yeah, maybe it should have been, but she was drunk. Not TOO bad, but drunk none-the-less. Since we're in high school (Soph), my friends of course had to be as immature as possible, and look over their shoulder every few seconds to yell random encouragements. "hook up with her man!" and the like. Well, I ultimately decided not to figuring I'd feel like I'd taken advantage of her, and wouldn't really be able to respect her or myself. I guess I just didn't want to be that jerk at the party who makes out with the drunk chick. Now, unfortunately, my friends see fit to get pretty indignant, acting like I was being childish. I mean, I know girls don't go for really nice guys, but I felt like it was the right thing to do.

Did I handle it the right way, or did I totally eff up? Thanks in advance.

Good Choice.

Im not sure if your a virgin or w/e, i am, but im just gonna say that if im gonna lose my virginity its definitely not gonna be with a drunk/high girl. Your friends are typical fuckers, my friends are JUST like that. If only the girls knew their REAL goal of going out with them.... if my friends werent my friends, i would take around a tape recorder and just record waht they say and play it in front of their girlfriends.

I hope that girl appreciates what you did [the right choice], and maybe she will hook up with you SOBER.

good job

I think you should have hooked up with her, but done no more with her at the time than you think that you would have done if she was sober (ie, what should would allow you to do, seeing as it was the first time) but then again if you think she would have fucked you anyway if she was sober, I dont suggest that cause then you'd definitely be the dick that fucks the drunk bitch.

Heres a hint:

Chicks go for guys that dont take advantage, so you will most likely get some anyway the next day. Just ask her if shes still interested, make sure shes sober.

I would've done the same thing, its not right to take advantage of drunk chicks.

Especially since they might just scream rape afterwards.

Some people go out and get drunk so they can do shit like hook up with people they probably wouldn't have the nerve to try and get with otherwise.

That said, you did the right thing. People who do the above are either out of control or old enough to know exactly what they're doing. It certainly doesn't sound like the latter applies, and if it did, you'd know. Buzzed people on a mission are easy to spot.

I hear you man. I'm a sophomore as well. On Halloween, we were at this senior chick's house party. My best friend's date got ahold of some rum and slammed way too much. She hadn't eaten anything the whole day. Well, first I think he was trying to fuck her, but he realized that she was too drunk even for that. So he just walked away for a while. So for about a half hour I made sure this chick was lying on her side. Then, she wanted to walk home, so she started to run down the street. She almost fell on her face. So I carry her back to the porch and she's not doing too good. She was trying to make out with me and shit. I was like "drink some water, and eat this pizza." Then she got kind of mad and hit me. Eventually my friend showed up in time as everyone was leaving (I think he was high) and held the bucket while she puked almost pure white rum. And yes, I got to pour out the bucket.

Anyway, my friend dumped her after that because he wasn't getting any. But she remembered me and is friendly with me every time we see each other. So yes, my friend and I could have taken advantage of her, but what am I ? Some kind of pussy that can't get a sober chick ? Besides, they always end up appreciating it the next day.

Man, if only my Halloween could have been that harmless. Got in deep ish after harboring two cases of beer and a few friends. On another note, thanks for the input guys. I really appreciate it.

I agree, she knew what she got herself into. Nothing wrong with a no strings attached sex romp. But make sure its clear thats what it is, unless you want a relationship.

Except that maybe she didn't.

Don't get me wrong. Anyone, especially a girl, who goes and gets plastered at a party should know damn well what risks are entailed with that. But when we're talking about high school (and sometimes even college) kids who are new to the whole getting wasted thing, a lot of them don't think about that. Then they wake up the next day with their panties around one ankle and no idea where their bra went, and feel like utter garbage.

Yes, some girls like that. But, especially with the ages we're talking about here, unless you know for certain that the girl in question knows what she's doing and isn't going to flip out in the morning when she can't remember exactly who she shagged, don't do it. You'll feel a lot better about it if you go jack off instead, and you'll get a good rep. That goes a lot farther than one night of sorry-ass, half-conscious sex.

Good luck finding a girl that can control herself while drunk. They don't exist.

Hah. Yeah. Why make yourself a patheitic shithead that can't get laid without it being with a chick with an altered state of mind for shitty sex?

I mean, come on. How good can sex with a half-passed out drunk chick really be? I can't imagine that it wouldn't be very rythmic and would be very sloppy. I guess you could pull it off if you just had her lay there, but either way, it would be crappy sex. Not worth the moral degredation and all. Sad fucking bastards...

You did the right thing . I can't even count how many times I've gotten waaaaay too trashed at a party and been all over someone. Luckily, it's usually someone I know and they realize that I'm beyond wasted and they just sit me down and try to sober me up a bit. I love them for that, because I've seen exactly the opposite happen to other chicks. Some guys see a drunk chick as an opportunity for a free fuck. Nice to know that there's at least some decent people in the world that wouldn't do that though.

Heh. Good to hear. Just as a side-note, I'm a virgin, so that might have contributed to not wanting some cheap thrills with her. Guess I'd prefer my first time to be in more positive circumstances, which will hopefully be pretty soon. Unfortunately I went to an all-guy school as a freshman, so I've had to get to know the girls again.

Regarding the high school alcohol issue, my class, as well as the juniors and seniors, is pretty big on drinking. They have some stupid tradition where they have to drink one more keg than last year's class. I personally prefer to drink pretty casually with friends, but to each his own.

Thanks again.

yeah, you took the high road. good for you. sure, nice guys usually finish last, but at least you'll respect yourself.

and tell your friends to fuck off. if they still give you shit, give one of them a solid punch in the stomach. if they can't respect your ethics, they can respect your fists.

Some girls, lots of girls- get drunk on purpose so they can fool around with guys and not be held responsible. As Spiffy said, these whores are easy to spot. You know what the girls I'm talking about. They come to a party in a skirt most people wear as a belt, split a six pack with two friends, and suddenly every cock in the room is a magnet and they've got steel cunts.

But here's the problem: High school girls don't like to take responsibility. Either that or they actually don't know the difference between getting so plastered they'd fuck a cactus, puking, making a bad decision and waking up between the foot ball team- and legitimately being taken advantage of. See what I'm saying? You had more at stake than your self-respect. Sure, tonight she's saying she wants it bad. But what will she say tomorrow when the whole school is talking about it? I've seen too many of my friends get bit in the ass like that. That's why it's my policy not to screw around with drunken party girls.

But besides that, you did the right thing. Congratulations, you're a decent human being.

heres the key to these situations. fuck her and dont give her your real name. wear a condom, take it with you. whether or not shes drunk is meaningless.

Alright, so here's an update, and another request for advice .

Ok, so all the events above occured on Friday (The 30th). On Saturday I just chilled, partially because I was tired, partially because a friend forgot to call me back. On Sunday I had a few friends over to watch the Superbowl (She wasn't there, but I'll call her Michelle for now), and I was talking to my friend's girlfriend about it. She'd been there, but left early, but when they spoke, Michelle said that she had been partially faking drunk, because she wanted to hook up with me. Clearly it backfired, but regardless, I figured when I saw her in class on Monday I'd talk to her about it. Well, on Monday I found out that another friend of mine(We'll call him Chris), who'd gone out with her in the past, chose that day as the day to try to get back together with her. I did end up talking to her after school, by her locker, and she was responsive, but seemed like she was in a hurry, and told me she'd talk to me later. This morning I found out that it was because she and her sister were hanging out with Chris at their house. I was kind of irritated, but asked Chris if he was trying to hook up with her again non-confrontationally. (We're good friends, I wouldn't stop hanging out with him over her or anything) He hadn't heard about Friday, but seemed kind of cocky, saying "Not trying man, I'm gonna hook up with her. Don't doubt it" or something along those lines. Anyways, I didn't get a chance to talk to her today, but was wondering... Would these events be enough for her to be considered attached to Chris, or should I continue to talk/flirt with her, and try to get to know her in a capacity beyond friendship? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I forgot to post what I was thinking of saying when I talked to her about it tomorrow. I was thinking along the lines of:

"Hey, listen. I just wanted to let you know that I had a great time chilling with you on Friday, and I was wondering if you'd want to hang out together again some time. I don't really know if you're attached or anything, but I'd like to get to know you better."

If she seems interested, I'll probably say "Cool, well I was thinking of [insert activity here] this weekend. Would you want to come along?"

Does that sound good, or too upfront? To be honest I don't really feel like sitting around while she finds some other guy. I'd kind of like to take advantage of the opportunity, and not be too careful to avoid rejection and miss out. Thanks for hearing me out, and thanks in advance for any input.

EDIT: Spelling

i would have to say that if your a virgin, then you did the best thing, wait for a relationship where you love the girl. this is how i lost my virginity and im happy with it.

if your not a virgin, then you should have done it, i would have. most people think that it is a low thing to do(it is), but still, have some fun.

In my opinion, you did the honourable thing.

Bravo to you sir!

But if I were in your situation, I would have gone for it!

Parties are made for getting pissed as a rat (drunk) and getting hold of a few chicks!

She was drunk...So what?

She was there to have a good time, drunk or not drunk, and if that good time involved getting some action with you then you should have done it!
