Thats not the full question:

Have you ever refused a phone number/date with a person who you were attracted to. I'm talking about a person who you normally would really want to fuck/date/be with.

If that isn't clear enough, here is an example: A girl who obviously doesn't seem to be attracted to you asks if you wanna go with her to some thing involving money (from your pocket)

That's the type of situation I'm talking abuot. You definetely WANT to be with her, but worry that she is just using you.

To answer your question...kind of. I wouldn't say they really asked me out or whatever but I have refused a girl because of use-anxiety. And I sure as hell would refuse if a chick was obviously using me--that is, if she wasn't really hot and I just wanted some quick action.

I did this in junior high because i was afraid of girls seriously if one called me i would even have my parents make an exuse for me but now ive moved up to have enough couarage to even hold their hand!!!

Never had it happen, but I wouldn't turn her down... the first time. After that, it would depend on my read of the situation. Unless I already knew her well, and knew chances were basically nil that she wanted anything other than a free meal/movie/etc., I would have to go on at least one date and then figure it out.

I think first contact is often too soon to make the "user" call, but I have backed off early or put limits on relationships with girls that gave a wrong vibe.

A few times. The last time there was this chick i was totally hot for, and she wanted me too, but she was a bit immature, and i'm not quite to pick a girl just for sex, i'd rather be on the same maturity level.

How odd to ask someone out and expect them to foot the bill. That just seems to be a breach of common courtesy and social rules. Unless she's a very good friend asking a favor, it's kinda inappropriate.

Its usually just customary for the guy to pay. I have yet to see a situation where the girl expected to pay. And if they do want to pay...few guys would actually let them.

The whole thing about paying for a female friend is also a weird issue. I say unless you are spotting them a few bucks (and will be paid back) you shouldn't do it. It makes you a bitch.
